The village of Langensoulzbach is really nice, and  well located if you like long walks and medieval castles. The house is in a quiet side street, and one sleeps very well!

The room was very clean, big enough, but I was a bit disappointed about the decoration, where I had expected something more special, given the photos on the website.

Breakfast was French, as expected, with baguette, marmelade (over 30 kinds), some cheese and ham, with coffee or tea. There was plenty for everybody, but unlike some other B&B's, I also did not get a "waaaw" effect.

I did not use this service, but the kitchen downstairs can be used by the guests in order to cook some food, as long as it does not bother the other guests.

The price is good for what you get, and when visiting the region again, I would consider it again.

Everything was ok - nothing extra ordinary

This is a nice B&B located in the heart of the North Vosges Park, in a very small but picturesque village. The building is quite new, with spacious front free parking space. It has a dining room and a small kitchen on the first floor for the guest to use. Bedrooms are located in the first floor, all with en-suite bathroom. 

Our bedroom was very large and clean, cozy and decorated with good taste. Yet some additional pieces of furniture would increase the comfort of the guest, like a proper wardrobe rather than some hangers on an open wooden space on the wall or a chest of drawers. We ended up having most of our clothes in the suitcase itself due to lack of proper furniture. The bathroom is equally spacious and clean, with high pressure shower but no curtains or shower door to avoid flooding water all over. A shower shelf would also be nice so that soap and the alike don't end up lying on the floor. Bed was acceptable, but not having a headboard prevented us from leaning comfortably on a fix surface to enjoy reading at night.

The common dining room offers a flat TV for guest who are interested in the same and a fireplace (adorable in the mornings during breakfast). 

Breakfast is served on a common dining table along with the other guests, which can be awkward for those not very talkative in the mornings, those not speaking languages, or those simply not willing to mingle. I didn't really mind (not such an uncommon practice in B&B) but had the feeling the other guests belonged to one of those mentioned groups.

Breakfast consists on the richest assortment of home-made jams I have ever seen with original flavors such as banana with vanilla or passion fruit with cardamom (if I recall correctly, but there were soooo many it is actually difficult). Assortments of local good breads, butter, fresh home-made juices and different pastries are also served along with some fruits and cheeses. Enough to get enough energy for starting exploring the area, which offers all kind of possibilities.

The owner makes really efforts to make the stay pleasant and comfortable and she is really nice. With some minor improvements picky people like me would be delighted.

Nice good value B&B

We arrived in the middle of the night after a 6 hour drive. Despite the late hour the owner  welcomed us very friendly and showed us our rooms immediately. 

It's a small bed & breakfast but the rooms are very clean (including the bathroom), very large with enough room for your luggage and it all seems brand new. The bathroom is big enough for 2 persons at the same time and the shower was very nice. With my 1,85 meter I'm not freakishly tall, however the bed was to small for me. My feet and ankles where sticking out. Breakfast was very good! Fresh orange juice, freshly baked bread and homemade marmelade.
