Chambres d'Hôtes Le Nid d'Iroise

My wife and I spent a very agreeable five nights here. We used Dominique’s B&B as our base for touring the local coastline and visiting family centred in Porsporder for a wedding. Our room was on the first floor facing the sumptuous gardens that Dominique , the owner , had landscaped and cultivated. The room was spacious, comfortable ( decent sized king bed) and a decent shower room (with good shower pressure). If we’re nit picking then you’d look for a full length mirror and maybe some wall hooks for coats and things but all in all it wanted for nothing. Every morning you gathered for breakfast on a long table where you really had to socialise with your fellow guests. Awkward at first , it became great fun with Dominique leading the conversations and making the introductions. At one point we had Scots, Germans, Swiss , Americans and Luxembourgers on the table. Great fun. Located well , we were able to visit all the villages from here (you need a car or bike) taking in the walks, beaches, restaurants (very reasonably priced and good) and yet it was only 20 mins from the autoroute. Our only gripe was the wifi. It was very hit or miss but it wasn’t a major issue but could have been , I guess , if you were trying to work or Teams meet. Thanks Dominique - we’ll be back!
