We are just back from four day stay at La Jeusseliniere.  Linda and Colin are the most welcoming of hosts.  They are located in the wonderful rolling countryside of northern Mayenne - with some beautiful nearby villages and very welcoming locals.  We were surprised by the number of Brit expats in the region - which means that English is spoken in most places if French is not your strength.

La Jeusseliniere has all the facilities you need - and the relaxed atmosphere is enhanced with the chickens, ducks and local wildlife wandering around the grounds. Linda and Colin will readily provide help and advice if needed.  We will be back to see them again soon.  

An ideal choice for our first post-lockdown trip abroad.

A brief and enjoyable stay

The owners Linda and Colin are the perfect hosts the farmhouse is very homely with some lovely personal touches. The room are tastefully decorated extremely clean in every way. A very peaceful environment with gardens to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The breakfast was well presented with homemade pastries each day fresh fruit (some of which was from the gardens)many interesting place to visit nearby
Will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend this perfect little gem⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BEAUTIFUL FRENCH FARM HOUSE

Just returned from a fabulous break in Larchamp.  Location is perfect being at the junction of Brittany, Normandy and the Loire and only just over 100 miles from Caen.  We saw the invasion beaches, Mont St Michel and the ancient towns of Vitre and Laval.  Real gems,  Linda and Colin are exceptional hosts and the Gites were comfortable and very well equipped (incl wood stoves and English Freesat!).  We will definately return for a summer break,

5 Sunny Days in France

I can honestly say this was one of the most enjoyable & memorable Breaks we have had . Colin & Linda have obviously put a lot of love and hard work into thinking about everything to make this so . The rooms were Beautifully and tastefully decorated, clean, warm & very comfortable beds . Breakfast was delicious. Many interesting places to visit nearby or equally as great to stay in the grounds of the B & B . I can see it is suitable for Families too as Swimming Pool, Free Range Chickens to collect fresh eggs from and the possibility of a Tractor Ride from Colin ( if they have been good for their Parents of course 😉)
I cannot wait to return and thoughily recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Colin and Linda were terrific hosts and their small hotel was incredibly comfortable.  Nothing was too much trouble and we would strongly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the area. We will certainly be back next time we are passing by.  Lovely breakfast before leaving and we would have no hesitation in recommending this property

Terrific

We arrived early owing to my forgetting the arrival times but were greeted by the hosts who assured us that it would not be a problem.
Colin,Linda and their grandchildren were pleasantness personified we also had fun relaxing in the gardens surrounded by chickens and the dog.
the room was extremely nice and the toilet bathroom was spacious and the power shower very effective once I had mastered the controls.
the breakfast was a good continental and very satisfying.
Overall we will definitely be staying here again.

SUPERB HOSPITALITY

After a long day of travelling from the UK,we arrived later than expected. We Were welcomed at the gate by both Colin and Linda. We felt at home, right away. All the stress of the day melted away.  "Forget the bags come have a cup of tea" as he ushered us into the garden. We stayed in one of the two self catering units, there are a few b&bs. Our gite was just as I imagined, a very "French country cottage".  Comfortable inviting bed, comfortable living area,flat screenTV and two comfortable sofas.   The kitchen was well appointed.  There was an assortment of provisions to get us through the next few days.  Fresh eggs from the chickens, bread, cheese, homemade jams, yoghurt etc.that was such a nice touch as we came late and had nothing to eat most of the day.  The area is so tranquil and just a car ride to the attractions. Convenient to Fougeres and Mont Saint Michel.  Colin was so helpful in pointing us in the right directions to see the sights.  I think the nicest part of our three days there,were the people who run this place. They make their guest feel so welcome and apparently I'm not the only one who thinks this, while we were there, they had several returning guest. Thank you Colin and Linda for a wonderful time on our 8 week adventure of the UK and France, three days in Larchamp was a great kickoff to France
