Guaranteed daily warm/hot sunshine in September is as good a reason as any to stay here. A large private pool with all around sun bathing area as well as a large sheltered area for those who want a break from the sun. The pool area gets the sun all day long. The complex is far enough away from the bustle of Barcares but still less than a few minutes away from the village and port. 

The nearby Place De Martinique hosts a number of restaurants and coffee shops. 

All apartments have a sunrise facing view looking out over a nearby sleepy harbour. And even in September you can bask in the sun on your own patio until near lunchtime. 

Private parking and limited access give some reassurance of privacy and security. 

Highly recommended. 

Excellent late summer break

Our second visit here and if possible even better than the first.A clean well organized apartahotel with most things close to hand.The free wifi a bonus but it is basic though paid faster connections are available.
The price  was reasonable and though the unit was supposed to cater for  5  we felt 4 would be the most suitable.The pool an excellent facilty though the nearby beaches are fantastic.Very pleased  all around.

The perfect late summer break

We'd never visited Catalonia before so we chose this property on the basis of what we'd seen on Trip Advisor.Our apartment was clean well equipped and close to a variety of small shops and resturants or bars.The hotel pool very nice though a little cool for my liking.The staff were excellent and had good english.What I thought we'd get for a very low costing accomodation was far better than we expected and everthing worked well with clean towels and bedding though you had to make your own beds up.With two of us there was plenty of room but 4 people would be a squeeze.A lovely large balcony area with views and having breakfast as the sun shone was delightful.We're planning a return if we can get a similar deal next year.

Not quite what we excpected.

We rented a 2 bedroom apartment that could accomodate 6 people for one week. We were 4 (including two children) and we found the place to be quite acceptable. Rooms were not big but beds but the place was OK overall (and we had a nice terrace; we got lucky). The lack of AC was a nuisance since it was very warm when we went there (early August). The accomodation is quite rustic and all the amenities are of medium quality (but better than some other similar Pierre et Vacances locations). We saw some people complaining about noise but we did not experience this issue when we were there. The swimming pool is reportedly heated but we found it too cold... The wifi worked quite well. 
Not a bad location to explore the broader area (outside of Le Barcares which is not great) but we would not recommend staying more than 2 to 3 days.

Medium complex. Acceptable accomodations.

We have stayed at Pierre Vacances once before and was very disappointed. Now several years later they have not improved. The hotel is not cleaned at arrival. Found hair in the sheets. Walking on the floor gave our kids black feet. One of the wardrobes smelled very bad, kept it closed... 15 inch TV. 1 bedroom 5 person apartment mean 1 bedroom (double bed)  and a kitchen with a sofa (counteda as 3 beds). Under the sofa you can pull out a small double bed and the sofa acts it self as the 3rd bed. The bedroom is located away from all ventilation which makes it impossible to sleep in during summer. Two adults and two children had to sleep in the kitchen bed. In 2012 I would expect an air condition, but no...

I would not return even if anyone would pay me the amount I paid for a week and let me stay for free.

I will never again stay at a Pierre Vacances hotel. The brand is totally ruined for me.
