We had lunch at the Ruche, with great pleasure. Welcome and service with the smile and kindness of Johane, successful dishes and desserts at very reasonable prices (a very good pie for me).

It's a great family meal.

We booked in for lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal & dessert.

We have been before and the food is always gorgeous.  

This time we had pie - absolutely gorgeous. And the chips/potatoes are so scrumptious.

The home made desserts are also a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our Bakewell tart & ice cream.

Accompanied by a nice white wine and finished off by a lovely cafe au lait

Service is excellent too from Joanne & staff

When next in France we will be back. And we will also try the Saturday breakfast

Gorgeous food

It's a very nice and very welcoming place. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel rooms are very small. The restaurant is excellent, everything is homemade. Not much choice for meals but everything is made to satisfy you. Excellent quality price.

An unforgettable step in a fancy and welcoming place

Thank you to Joan & her family for the quality and simplicity of their welcome. A parenthesis that made us travel to England during this two-day weekend with friends.

Joanne's reception is lovely and the rooms are very comfortable, we were able to have dinner on the premises and it was delicious.

A very warm welcome at a surprising site

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights in September 2021. The room decor was incredibly beautiful, really comfy bed, warm rainfall shower and lots of storage space. The breakfast was included in the price and was such a large spread that we couldn't even eat it all. Joanne and Robin were incredible hosts and nothing seemed too much for them. I would also highly recommend having an evening meal here, the Cajun chicken was to die for!

Super all round

Where do I start, dropped in on a lunch time and fairly busy. In these days of covid that's a good sign of quality. We weren't disappointed. Extremely well looked after by our host (Jo) she explained the menu options and appeared warm and excited we were joining her restaurant for lunch. The food arrived quite quickly and was accompanied by wine and cider for the boys. The food was simply excellent. Well cooked and we'll presented. The chef must top class. Even my dessert (ice cream, raspberries with choc shaving) was a treat to behold. 
Great food, fantastic service, if your near you must indulge yourself.
Friendly and proud owners and so they should be.
Oh and the price, I was expecting it to be more expensive.
I'm looking forward to returning.

Excellent Restaurant

New to the area and La Ruche came highly recommended for food.
First visit last week for the English breakfast (we love France 🇫🇷 but there are some things that remain embedded in your blood)
2 full breakfasts - 5 star! Hot, beautifully presented, good portions and all fresh ingredients. Hubby said it’s the best breakfast he’s had in years and being a travelling contractor it must have been good. 
So much so in fact he went again today!
Again, first class food and service. 
Friendly owners and just faultless. They have veggie options too.
Well done to all at La Ruche. We will be back 🤩

Simply the best breakfast

After being pushed back from Bed and Breakfast two steps away, despite a confirmation by email and a phone call, the patented scammer offers us a solution to replace the Ruche. The room is advertised at 80 euros (18 euros more than we had planned without offering to pay the difference), we will pay 170 euros on arrival (mathematical problem). For this price, we do not make your bed, toilet paper is absent from the room and we charge you 10 euros extra without justification. On the day of departure, you are taken out, we laugh when you ask for an extra coffee for breakfast, the egg in the shell is hard and once you have paid (10 euros more) and that you have not been issued a bill, the flying egg is scandalous and it is scandalous!!!!!
