Great stay here - would highly recommend.  Good family room, very welcoming and friendly staff, fantastic breakfast and evening meal.  Hope to stay again in the future.  Location was good both in this little town and in its accessibility to the autoroute.  Thanks so much!

Stopover on way South

Spent one night here on the way home in hot weather. We’re were well looked after and although the bedroom had no air conditioning they put a fan in our room. Ate dinner in the lovely restaurant with excellent service. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Lovely stop over

We mentioned we were vegetarians at the time of reservation. They prepared a special menu to accommodate this. The three course meal  was amazing. The chef outdid himself. We asked them to recommend a wine and the match was excellent.  (and very reasonably priced). The 3 -course meal with wine and aperitif for three people came to 93 Euro total. Will go out of our way next time we are in the area to eat here again.

Great dining experience

Generally speaking satisfactory, though as with many such hotels of the Logis marketing organisation, slightly eccentric and not quite as cheap as you’d otherwise expect (not helped by the collapse of sterling).

It’s location, right in the middle of the picturesque town, gave a great sense of atmosphere and has a genuine sense of being in France (as opposed to a forgettable chain hotel on a motorway junction).

The rooms were clean though dated and could do with some degree of refurbishment. 

The restaurant wasn’t the cheapest and service a bit on the slow side, but the food was exquisite.  Private parking at the rear was a great reassurance and convenience.

Would stay again.

Very characterful

Stopped here for lunch on the way through the town with the family. 
All our meals were very good. Our member of the family who was gluten free and vegetarian was also well catered for. Service very good and prices reasonable.
Nice area to eat outside.

Restaurant of a high standard

We were here as a group of 16 cyclists.  We managed to check in at a reasonable time.  We required several twin rooms and some of the group were put in an annex behind the main hotel.  Hotel rooms were of a good size and comfortable.  The annex rooms were of a good size and bright.  The "en-suite bathrooms" in the annex were only separated from the bedroom area by a curtain, which for our group (people sharing who had only met 2 days before) was not ideal.  To be fair there was a separate toilet on the landing for those who felt uncomfortable with the arrangement. Dinner was excellent, waitress very helpful especially when serving a birthday cake to one of our group.  Breakfast good but nothing amazing.  Staff on arrival not overly friendly or helpful but this was in part due to my lack of French I feel. The town is lovely, worth a walk around.  Would definitely return.

Well situated, very French

We stayed here for one night on our way to Bretagne. We were in room 1, which I suspect is their worst room. It is just above the kitchen and has a persistant smell of fried food. So we needed to open the window to get some air... which of course caused some mosquitoes to come in. The bed is too soft and hangs in the middle, sleeping was uncomfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern but smelled of drains. OK, 61€ per night is not very expensive but if this is the kind of room you get you're better off staying in Hotel Première Classe, Ibis Budget,... etc.
Wifi is available (ask code at reception) but very slow connection with frequent interruptions makes it almost non-usable.
On the positive side : breakfast is very nice, lots of choices (many of them local and/or bio) ; very good value for money (8€). Easy and free parking on the square in front of the hotel.
