Beautiful old mill with several outbuildings that fit in well. Our room was in one of these with a modern bathroom. All very comfortable. The B & B is run by Jerome and Catherine and their son who is taking over the business. his English is very good.  There are various tables doted around the garden so you can sit out and have a glass of wine. Parts of the garden have been wilded so it looks lovely.  It is about 30 minutes by car from Dieppe which has a very good Saturday morning market. We would be happy to visit again.

Happy to stay again

My wife and I stayed a night here and had a great experience. The hotel uses the grounds and buildings of an old mill, and together with the super-quiet environment, this was definitely one of the most unique places we have ever been. Just to note, they are not linked to Expedia anymore, and only took cash for the payment. We had a great breakfast in the old mill room, but if you are arriving later in the afternoon, dinner options nearby are very scarce. As long as you plan for all that, it is definitely worth staying, if you are in the area.

Very unique and special place

When your kid's face lightens up upon arriving at this place you know this is the place to stay for a longer time. Although we had only one night in our itinerary, we thoroughly enjoyed it and dream to return for a longer vacation. It is such a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing place encouraging good conversations and friendships. We loved our big room in the old house for our family of 4, enjoyed the picnic in the garden by the creek, kids found farm animals and enough space to roam freely... timeless charm! The breakfast  had the most flavorful honey we've ever had, amazing croissants and the gracious hosts made our short stay extra special. This is a place to return happily ever after :-)

A beautiful, friendly, peaceful, relaxing and very special place!

It was the final night of our holiday and we had hoped to end it with a nice dinner but when we rang ahead to confirm were told that it was not a hotel and they did not do meals - not what we had read on Booking.com - so this was a disappointment.  However, the mill is fascinating- very old and the breakfast room is a wonderful treasure house of artistic features.  The breakfast was very good.  We were rather sorry that our hostess was brisk and efficient but did not chat, which is one of the reasons we like chambres d'hotes as opposed to hotels. It was 'old school' French in that there was no equipment for making hot drinks - only two empty glasses but no bottled water.  Most other chambres d'hotes now provide tea/coffee etc in the rooms.

Picturesque and old world

I'm not sure if it was the water mill or the little brook running through the gardens and around the properties but this hotel certainly holds a lot of charm.  Our room was really outdated but still charming and a little taste of the golden olden days.

A taste of paradise old style

if you want a modern, five-star hotel, don't go there! If you are looking for a hidden paradise, try this place. We expected a normal hotel room, but we had a little terraced house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms! All for €85! The Nourry family is delightful - informative but not intrusive. This former mill is over 600 years old, the ancient mill-wheels still in place. Although they no longer offer table d'hôte meals, this fascinating establishment offers a fabulous breakfast ( included), with many home-made jams. There is a very well-stocked bar for guests' evening enjoyment. We went to the nearest restaurant, L'Aquilon, which was pricey, but as good as anyone could expect of a Dieppoise fish restaurant. We had a starter, a fish main course and 50 Cl of wine plus aperitifs - €110. Your choice!!!
