Stayed in this  2 star hotel over the  weekend and was very pleased with the accommodation. The hotel is 50 metres away from the beach.  The rooms are clean and smart, the only comment I would have is that being a man of larger proportions the shower is a little tight.There is no lift and older people may struggle with the stairs.
The breakfast is typical of all french hotels and well presented

The meal in the restaurant in the evening was very enjoyable and reasonably priced. many locals were using the restauarnt which must be a good sign.

Short drive into Boulogne if required. 
Certainly use this hotel when next in the area

Value for money

In this relatively cheap hotel you get a clean and well kept room, a good bed & fresh bed linen, enough towels, warm water and a decent breakfast.  Who could ask for anything more? The shower was very tiny -obese persons would not fit in (not my problem). It is located in a suburb of Bourgogne sur Mer, he sea is at 1 minute walking from the hotel. I didn’t try the restaurant, but wouldn’t be afraid to do so.

Very good value for money in this small hotel

An overnight en route to the South , we picked this hotel to be a little outside Boulogne ....Le Portel proved to be a very agreeable little seaside town basically a suburb of its larger neighbour but with a seaside feel. Le Flobart has a bit of a nautical theme and a Scandi/Habitat feel to the room ( decor was very fresh), which though smallish was very comfortable ,very clean , quiet too so a sound sleep. Bathroom was "compact ". We were off before breakfast so cannot comment on it. So less than £50 for the stay ...I would certainly book again.  In its class a 9 out of 10 and I would think a decent option for a seaside break in this area. . Pleasant owner.

Very nice small hotel...

It is a small hotel with a dozen rooms. The hotel is well kept and has been recently refurbished. The bathroom in the room could be larger. Our room, the 10 was comfortable. The 11th is bigger and the bathroom is more confortable.

A nice place to stay for a week end

We stayed over night on a short break to the area and this place was ideal.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable and better than expected for the price.

Le portel is quiet with a lovely beach, I would recommend a short drive to Hardelot or Le Touquet for bars or restaurants.

Overall, would recommend the hotel.
