Walk to the east gate through a curving path She did on both sides by trees. As you approach the green, casual garden is in contrast to the glass and concrete building.
Inside you’ll be enchanted by whatever is on display as this is a museum of temporary exhibitions.
The exhibits are in one huge room arranged in a timeline and you can stroll through at your leisure.

Lovely Lens Louvre

Unfinished furnishings (only the sheets had been changed). Furniture in poor condition and dirty (couch). Tiny bathroom-toilet with a simple curtain in the room. Refusal to refund the reservation for non-compliance with the visual description. Absolutely to run away!

The Louvre Lens is a beautiful sight with its gallery of the time whose scenography is exceptional! From the Lens train station (purely art deco) walk to the museum (15/20) or shuttle to your choice

Ideal for visiting the Louvre, large and spacious apartment. Attention, the staircase is very steep to climb.

Clean and functional

45m2 clean, renovated and well equipped apartment in a quiet area in the centre of Lens here you feel a bit at home after taking the keys from the lock-box.The wooden terrace is already top waiting for its summer layout.Very friendly welcome from the young owner at the key handover the next day.Nothing to reproach except the rather whimsical Wi-Fi connection...very good value for money

Good in every way

The Louvre without a tail of Parisians with priority bobos, nervous guards and Japanese cars An aerial museum full of light and warmth of the North's welcome. As a mouthpiece a selection of classical masterpieces sculptures and paintings from all eras from Egypt to Mesopotamia to Rembrandt and Islamic art. The exhibition The Nain...a revelation...of the never-before-seen and above all a family presentation of the paintings that are almost accessible to the touch and unprotected by glass as in most international museums.

worth the trip

I can only speak about our studio but for us this place had everything we needed and more.

They had managed to fit plenty of facilities in to a small space.

The very comfortable bed faced a large screen tv and we had two cooking rings, a toaster, microwave and even two bar stools and a surface large enough for us to eat an evening meal and breakfast.

The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower very good.

Wifi also worked perfectly well.

What more could you want as a stopover after a long drive back through France.

Not the fault of the property but my wife did comment on the traffic noise throughout the night which didn't affect me, 'allegedly' but we are country folk and Lens is definitely a town.

One final point that you might want to check out is you need a code to get your key to get in to the flats and we panicked that it hadn't been sent to us by e-mail. We rang the number and in best Frainglaisse had to leave a message on an ansaphone. We did get the number sent through but please be warned.

Otherwise all good.

Everything Well Thought Out

Tus is a very comfortable stay for a family for a night (if you chose to say in Lens!!) Very Clean and Comfortable and we found parkng easy enough on road outside accommodation. Only issue is we could not access wifi.

Nice...

Considering the town is not blessed with many interesting places to stay, this apartment (one of four in the same building) was comfortable, well-equipped, light, everything you could wish for at a reasonable price.  If you are looking for cosiness, character, luxury or more, then you may be disappointed, and I suggest you probably would want to stay somewhere a little more expensive, but, if you are not expecting the Ritz then the apartment is fine.  It is a short walk from the main town shopping street and further from the Louvre Lens itself than its name would imply, but the walk is interesting and worth making.  The weather was cold and wet while we were there, but we could imagine lying on the balcony (no views to speak of) soaking up the sun on a summer day.  It is a town maisonette and as such is fine for a short stay.  The host was very welcoming too.

Airy and comfortable

Last minute booking as our first choice had let us down. Not sure who designed the layout of the studio but it's totally wrong. The TV is in the wrong place, the bed faces the wrong way and the tiny bathroom is like a forgotten afterthought. It is bright and clean and a super cold fridge, but other than that it is a bit of a disaster. Wifi is good once you get the password.
