My wife and I booked this for the Christmas week and haven’t been disappointed. A special mention to our chalet host, Patrick Kearny 👍.
The ability to ski in and out was great, as was the location to a cheeky bit of Apres.
The chalet is small but cosy, we had room 3 which had the en suite and balcony - definitely the best room.

Good location and great chalet host

Our end of day gathering at the chalet Peclet has become an annual event to meet the staff that always give us the greatest welcome. Paul always has a smile when we come in for our last drinks before skiing down tete ronde back to Val Thorens.

The annual family ski trip

The people who run this chalet are terrific - friendly, reliable and fun. Have some food and drink here before heading down from the Peclet lift or experiencing the torchlight descent at night. Great any time of day, the beer is great and the hot chocolate is even better.

Great place to chill out at the top of the mountain

This chalet is great value and ideally situated to enable skiing without a long  walk. The food is really good and Jonny our chalet host was both a good chef and good host. His knowledge of where to go in the area and where to ski in certain conditions proved very insightful. Would go again.

Ideal for group of friends 

 Having x  3 male employees enter the chalet without warning or request was just not acceptable. It was not professional and not courteous.
We do not accept that it’s okay for  the employees to just wander in and out without informing the customers first, or asking if it was convenient, esp. given the circumstances – young ladies lounging  in their undergarments and pyjamas etc. We should have been told at the very least.
We know other guests had complained - despite the customer service rep in England arguing the toss and saying otherwise!? She certainly seemed to wan to have the last word!! We know because the reps there admitted there 'was an issue with security and privacy'
Overall the chalet was great, except we were not prepared to find rooms without keys to enable us to lock these,nor the fact many male member of staff just appeared whenever they felt like it. They never knocked they just all had keys. The host was amazing and at times upset re the intrusion by many staff. We wrote a fair and frank letter re our stay, but this was met with a rather 'argumentative' response. So much for the customer is always right. 
The chalet is great if you all know each other very well. It is small and cozy. There is an open plan kitchen area - with a very small bedroom right next door. The lounge area is also in this same open plan room. As a family it was fine - but having no locks on doors was a big concern when we had so many strangers in the chalet at all times. Its not what we wanted in terms of  being able to chill out and not have this invasion of our privacy. If you have been in shared chalet then you may be fine with this set up, but for young ladies particularly we all found this rather unsettling.
We had an amazing host - she kept us all very well nourished.  She worked extremely hard and without doubt is an asset to the company. Its a shame re the issues re lack of privacy/security. Otherwise we would return as the chalet was brilliantly situated. Its a shame too that the 'attitude' of that so called customer service person  - she needs training evidently.

Winter holiday with family

Chalet Peclet has great location as it's only a few minutes walk away from the shops and bars. 
Unfortunately, we did not like the room that we stayed in and felt rather uncomfortable because of its size. It was a very small room next to the kitchen (the only room downstairs) and we were woken up every morning at 7am when the chalet host started cooking breakfast. Be prepared for the smell of food too.
Ideally this room should be cheaper than the rest of those in the chalet as it's smaller, with only a small window whereas rooms upstairs have better views and balconies too. Our chalet host was lovely and I think everyone else who stayed in the chalet during our week there had a good time. 
If only our room was better...
