This was our stop for the day on the GR34. We had an upper floor room with a view. Relatively spacious, with a good bed and shower. The wifi was weak but useable. The value for money almost pushes this into five stars.

Excellent room, very good value

Hotel le Littoral is located just over the bridge into Lézardrieux. It is a well run family hotel that has refurnished rooms. Mine on the top floor had pleasant views back to the bridge and over the estuary. All very clean and tidy. The one negative is that the toilet was wedged into a tiny area that almost made it unusable. Strange how someone thought this might be OK. WiFi connection is weak up on the top floor, but when connected worked OK. Breakfast was busy and unusually not a buffet but I was served a basket of breads and pastries. Secure bike parking in the garage. All very good. Not a great deal in the town, but the pizza place round the corner is worth a visit...save room for the desert.

Top floor views across the estuary...

At the beginning of the year we came here arriving late to the hotel. We got organized with the tenant to get the code and the key to access our room. A simple place, easily located with a good breakfast. Perfect to stay one or two days. 

A great place to stay

This is a basic but cosy hotel with very good rates, situated in a nice area.
We had a bright room on the top floor, with a beautiful view of the river.
There was a bathroom, but the wall didn't go all the way up to the ceiling.
The bed was comfortable but a bit too short.
Wi-fi was good.
The breakfast was a good French one with baguette and croissant.
An issue that could be a problem is that the house is not sound proof. You could hear people walking the stairs, visiting the toilets or washroom in the hallway, almost like they were in your room. It was fine during our visit since we all seemed to have the same hours and everyone moved around as carefully as they could.
Yet I wouldn't hesitate to return. The place is just like you would expect a small French hotel to be: homely with a chic and friendly manager.

A beautiful view

Almost all rooms have a view of the river, the countryside or the bridge (a french national monument). A family run hotel with a typical french breakfast of jams, bread, coffee etc.  I think they do evening meals to order, but you don't need it as there are 5 or so restairants in the village plus loads more in nearby towns.  

If you want avoid hotel chains and stay in a nice family run hotel, this could be for you.

We've stayed here 3 times as we return here as our base for an annual choir tour. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is lovely. My husband and I get very excited about the crusty baguette and mini-pastries. The coffee is good too! The owner is very friendly and the hotel feels like an honest, family run venture. The only thing we don't get excited about is the stairs up to the top floor, however the view of the lake makes them worth it! I think this place is excellent value for money.
Our review says we travelled in August 2012 - we didn't, it was July/August every year prior to this for three years, but August 2011 wasn't an option!
