We stayed here on our last night in France before driving back to the UK the following day.

The Chateau is beautiful and full of history.  It is a great, peaceful location for anyone coming from / going to Calais with approx a 55 minute drive to LeTunnel.  

Frederic the host gave us a lovely warm welcome, recommended places for dinner and offered help and support if needed.  We ate in Le Jardin - approx 20 minute walk into town.

The room was comfortable and very clean, we had a good rest and then enjoyed a fantastic breakfast of croissant, pain au chocolat, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheeses, bread, homemade jams and lovely coffee.  Perfect set up to a big drive the next day.

Thank you so much.  I’m sure we’ll return at some point!

Lovely peaceful chateau, very convenient for channel crossings

We didn't go on vacation this year, so we wanted to change the atmosphere. Par successfully, the person who welcomed us was pleasant. the sequel or we were great, we were able to enjoy the jacuzzi and an excellent breakfast! We hope to be able to return this in May 2021...

To the Angels

I was welcomed by the friendly host, whose grandgrandgrandfather bought the castle by the end of the 19th Century.  There is for sure a lot of atmosphere here.  The room was spacy and watched out on the parc surrounding the castle.  Matrass was quite hard, but otherwise the room was OK.  Breakfast was in typical french style but well prepared.

Nice place to stay in Pas de Calais

Here I can actually take a short break - overnight in the castle, in the wonderful large room, charmingly decorated, very friendly service, a nice breakfast in a large hall (we were the only guests), I can really only recommend this chateau! And the other way around invites you to walk in.

It's magical.

A very attentive and available host, a very nice and clean home. I highly recommend it. Breakfast is very full, there's something for everyone. The room is cozy and warm.

Calm and Rest

To find the entrance to the park and therefore to the villa is almost impossible in the dark, since there is no bright sign but only an open door without any light, both at the gate and inside the park (the villa is not visible from the street). The structure is beautiful, requires some maintenance to the exterior finishes. The very large, warm and well-kept room, could be perfect with a larger bed since the French bed was really small.

Hard to find

Guests to the wedding of friends we discovered the castle very nice place shiny secular ceremony due to our brides as far as the dining room is concerned(at the end of the chapel) actually well improved finally big bemool no kitchen to make the dinner and that c a big damage all must be brought so extra blow when we see the price already rent and when we rent a second day we are very disappointed that at eight everything stops we should review this rent which we thought very expensive for a stop at eight but we took a room for the night the, not to mention, great little lunch, the nice dining room but there is much more to the same for the rental of the room damage very damaged rental place to see the beautiful things for the rest of the wedding in our heads thank you

Marriage

We stayed last night, upon arrival we were upgraded to the largest room, jacuzzi bath and a small balcony. The Chateau is owned by a family who live in a house behind, so when you arrive, if there is nobody about then go round the back and ring the doorbell. The Chateau is full of character, the rooms were spotless, the views were fab. There is a small lake outside full of ducks! We walked into town for an evening meal at Le Jardin which is ranked no.1 on tripadvisor for restaurants in Lillers. Food was homely and reasonably priced. There are some mention on other reviews about the Chateau looking a little run down however in my opinion this adds to the character! Cannot be cheap to keep it running! Breakfast was lovely. We would definitely return if passing again. 

Great

Once you finally find this place(trust me its difficult) you will be amazed where it is!
Lillers is a lot bigger than you think,it has industry and part of the town isn't that attractive.
However when you arrive at the chateau down their relatively long dark driveway(spooky!)you will be blown away!
We were greeted by the owner,a pleasant quiet guy who showed us to our suite.A wonderful bright room,complete with balcony and the largest jacuzzi I've ever seen!
It only offers breakfast,which is simple,cheese,bread,croissant and jams.
Not much to do there,however we were only there for one night,and walked into town for dinner.
All I say is,if you decide to venture out for dinner,walk back down their spooky driveway,if you dare!!!!

CHARMING CHATEAU WITH SO MUCH CHARACTER.

Beautiful frame for a wedding. Superb reception hall. Fat black castle. Very unpleasant and arrogant dishonest person. He promised us the room for preparation on Thursday and we only got it on Friday at 11:00. We trusted him for the bounce on Sunday and we had to put our guests out at 7:30 because the room has to be returned by 8:00. I know these clauses are written in the contract but he never spoke to us orally.
