After just 2 nights at La Pigario, we felt we were farewelling friends, not just hosts, when we left. Isabelle and Daniel were amazing! From the moment Daniel greeted us (we were a little early), to the moment Isabelle handed me my ironed washing before we left (not a usual inclusion!)- they couldn't have been more helpful and acommodating. They invited us to join them for dinner on the first night, and joined us for dinner at a nearby restaurant on the second. The house was beautiful,  spotless, and very comfortable. (Best sleep I've  had for a long time! ) Breakfast was delicious (especially Daniel's homemade French toast). The view was gorgeous. Perfect B&B - we will really miss our new friends!

Hard to leave - hosts became friends!

We stayed here for 4 nights and ate one night.  I wouldn't stay anywhere else now.  The room we stayed in was a good size, nice shower and separate loo - everywhere clean and fresh.  Tea and coffee etc making facilities in the room which is always a bonus.  There is quite a large salt water pool which is kept spotless and a small fridge to keep any drinks in.  The owners are Daniel and Isabelle Delessert and what a team they make.  Fantastic hosts, full of fun and conversation - even if your French is limited.  The breakfasts are relaxed and filled with delicious home made breads, brioche, yoghurt and conserves along with cheese, cold meats, cereals..... and the view from the garden is stunning - you could sit for hours and just watch. The evening meal was all made with local produce and Isabelle is a fantastic cook/chef - way past some of the restaurants we have eaten in whilst travelling all over France, totally delicious and well worth the euros. There are nice walks starting from just at the back of the house and through the woods, either staying in the countryside or heading down to the little but delightful town of L'isle sur Tarn which has a lovely market square and regular markets, beautiful buildings, a little lake and the river.  It is an ideal base also for the larger towns and cities - such as Gaillac and Albi. We both tried hard to find something even slightly negative to say about it but really couldn't!

Amazing food and stunning views

Set in the French countryside, this farmhouse is set well back from the road up a driveway which requires some care.  The property is not brand new or 'flash' but Isabelle and Daniel are wonderfully generous hosts and "made" the experience for us.  We learnt so much about the local wines from Daniel and Isabelle featured local produce at the evening meals (which were offered to us at a modest additional cost).  We had a really wonderful time staying with them; from our 6 weeks of travel in Europe, this was probably our favourite location - primarily because of Daniel and Isabelle.

Our favourite B&B

Between vineyards, fields and picturesque villages there is a beautiful traditional house with absolutely amazing views all around! You can have there everything you want- huge and very clean swimming pool with outside area for a picnic, BBQ facilities, great garden where breakfast is served, spacious bedrooms with a big and comfortable bed. The hosts Isabelle and Daniel are the most generous and kind people. Thank you for your delicious and healthy breakfasts with home-made yoghurt, jams, bakery and freshly made juice.All the advices that The hosts gave us about places to visit were very helpful and the restaurant that Isabelle so kindly booked for us was so good... It was very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere that Isabelle and Daniel created. Just what you need when you are on holiday. We enjoyed our dinner  together  with you and your  friend from Switzerland. We had a great experience and fun. And can`t wait to come and see you next year.

Beautiful French countryside!

If you want to have a good rest, to refill your batteries after a year of work, you must go at La Pigario!The landscape view is incredible, the hosts, Isabelle and Daniel are very kind and friendly, and the conditions are the same like for a 5 stars hotel.
We felt very, very well and we would like to return one day!
