Didn’t stay I  was invited to eat - TERRIBLE.
RUDE,  asked for a soft drink as driving and a glass of sparking (not champagne) was shoved in my hand - no soft drinks available I was told by the man/owner.
Lunch - lots of waffle from the women/owner mentioning every ingredient......sub standard 
Finally coffee was served and it was made many hours before and was stewed, bitter and nasty - they charge for that  - AVOID

We had a great stay in beautiful surroundings and a great Maison from the 1600. The hosts provide a friendly atmosphere with a mix of southern france - and Copenhagen directness. You gotta love it. 

I love the fact you feel you live in their “medieval home “ and you get served excellent local food with great rose wine. Never have I experienced such good wine of the house. Asking Jette about it she states that she want the guests to have proper wine representing the local traditions.

The pool and the garden is a major asset when bringing kids. 

We checked out at 10 and had friends coming in late due to troubles at the airport. No problem, Jette and Bent fixed a very good late lunch. With Rose. And we could use the garden and the pool. That is good service and emphatic attitude. 

They have been running this great place with such a good location for many years and I understand they are ready to sell out parts/whole of it to younger people with energy. For those who feel the call for action; you should have a look.

I would love to stay here again.

Nice location and food..

However, female staff members were both rude and totally lacking service- and social skills, arguing with several guests (in all ages, with global experience and reference frames from bed & breakfasts to luxury hotels/restaurants) on very basic hotel/restaurant requests.

I.e:
-staff denying to lit the candles placed on the tables in the garden when dark, 
-staff stating that guests could not order a glass of water or wine because they were closing (this, 1,5 hrs before agreed closing time), 
-staff shouting at senior guests walking back to their hotel rooms - to check that they actually lived there, 
-staff being terribly rude to guests, who by accident used the «wrong» entrance to find the bathroom. 
-staff quarreling with guests in all ages about every little basic hygiene factor restaurant service request - in a «troubled teenager» manner
-etc. etc.

All guests were calm and behaving like nice people, trying to enjoy the evening in the charming garden - so no excuse for delivering a service experience so terrible and to the extent that one could suspect the female manager(?) to have severe personality disorders..

This place have potential, but the service/staff experience needs tremendous improvement. 

(The typical response for such a place would of course be blame the bad experience on the guests. Don’t bother. Rather apologize and promise serious effort for improvement - for your own good.)

Charming place...if it wasn’t for the staff

I was expecting traditional and charming but found it to be old and not charming at all. The façade ir quiet nice, but other than that feels like your grandmothers house. The breakfast is pretty good but that is about all that is positive. Very difficult to stop if you come with with a car, but that is understandable due to the location. Even if you stay in the first floor there are stairs. The owners have several rules and are not very flexible so you feel like you are invading. But the worst for me was that there was no hot water when we wanted in the evening! The owner just told me that it would heat during the night and that is how it was! In the morning effectively there was hot water and my impression was that they forgot to turn the boiler on and were not even gracious enough to admit it. If it really is the system guests should be told before that you cannot shower at night! 
Although a B&B the price us high and should at least everything should work! 

Disappointing 

A very cosy and intimate place midtown Lorgues. BB of good quality, but also possible to have some excellent food.
We were 4 for dinner - and the 3 courses were: Salmon with vegetables, Beef of excellent ox and with sauce bernaise (homemade) and fried potatos and veggies and then at the end Creme Brulee.
Local white from Chateau Crostes and a potent red from Lanquedoc area.
A superb dinner.

Having not been here for a year I was intrigued to see  if the the lunch experience would be as good as it was on my last visit. It was. The chef is really very good and the food was delicious. Their St Roubine carafe wine was also good. It’s so pleasant sitting on their terrace . It’s extremely good value.
