Staff is not very friendly and not willing to speak any other then French, although we tried our best to speak French. They dont seem to connect with the visitors to give them a good time. 

The sanitaries are open and therefore windy and cold. There is no toilet paper, take your own!

Also, no supermarket on the site.

We spent a few days in a wooden cabin, we cleaned it as you would do elsewhere but there was an inspection upon departure. We had to broom thouroughly, and every spot had to be cleaned! Apparently they do not clean themselves, it is up to you! 

Would not stay there again.

The park and lake is beautiful, you should spend one day there and then move further. 



Unfriendly, poor sanitaries

Easy to find (follow the Aquarev signs), just off the N164 dual carriageway, on the outskirts of a pleasant enough, but not touristy town (15-20 mins easy walk to the centre), with a variety of shops, restaurants and 3 bakeries. It is a 5-10 minute drive to various supermarkets/commercial centres on the outskirts of town (Aldi, Lidl, Leclerc and Intermarche among others). Very friendly and welcoming managers, anxious that everything should be fine with your stay. It has direct (but secure) acces to the amazing Aquarev park and lake, with a surprise round every corner! 

The site has reasonably sized, open grass pitches (obviously recently cut but still fairly long), divided by vegetation, with trees round the perimeter of the site, most with some slope but not extreme, and about a third of the site to one side has smallish statics. It was very quiet, with just a handful of occupied pitches during our stay (2 nights, mid-June), but felt perfectly secure. There are plenty of electric points (10 amp) - 1 post per 4 pitches - but the water points are push button and take a long time to fill an Aquaroll, so take a seat! (We discovered too late that there is a faster filling point at the Motorhome service point!) The toilet and shower block was modern and cleaned regularly (no seats and take your own paper) but the roof was a bit cobwebby! There is a small playground at the top of the site and a snack bar (which is also accessible from the park) open in the season and weekends. Wi-fi is available and a bread service but seemed expensive, so we didn’t bother! However, it was only 15 euros a night with ACSI, and not much more without - and no tourist tax - so overall good value. 

An ideal site for anyone wishing to break their journey to/from Southern Brittany or as a destination if you simply want to chill on site or use the facilities of the fantastic park.

2 night stay with touring caravan

This is a spacious and well-maintained site. The pitches are large, on green grass and separated by shrubs. There are ample electricity points. The site is well laid out and fairly open, however, there is very little shade. The sanitaires, laverne etc. are modern and impeccably clean. The site overlooks a large lake which is popular with locals and tourists alike for a very pleasant stroll with play/exercise areas at intervals. Although the lake is not part of the site you can by fishing permits from reception. €12 per day (the rate is not set by the campsite). There is a charge for Wi-Fi. There is a bar and terrace. Snacks are available to takeaway ; frites, sausages, chicken etc. This is a peaceful site that is well looked after. we received a warm and friendly welcome from the two delightful ladies at reception with plenty of banter, Fr. bavarder in English and French. Recommended!
