I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the reception and services at this establishment, and I feel compelled to write this review shortly after my arrival. Today, I arrived with some friends who were on a cycling holiday, and we were welcomed on a scorching hot summer day with temperatures in the high twenties. To our dismay, the reception staff made us wait outside in the blistering sun while they allocated our rooms. We endured over 30 minutes of discomfort, and they did not offer us the option to wait inside the lounge.

The apartments were scattered across various buildings, adding to our confusion. The receptionist only spoke French and relied on Google Translate on her phone to communicate with us. The translated message instructed us to "go between the restaurant and the shop," but there were no further details provided regarding the name of the building or the location of the lifts. I ventured to the indicated area twice, but there were no signs or indications to guide me. Frustrated, I returned to the receptionist, who repeated the same instructions. On my next attempt, I asked for clarification, but her response was unclear. I even requested her assistance in person, but she declined, citing that she was alone at the desk. Eventually, we managed to find our rooms through trial and error.

Upon entering the room, we were shocked to find that there were no sheets or towels provided. Moreover, there was no air conditioning or even a fan to alleviate the sweltering heat. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was non-functional. When I approached the reception once again, they handed me a large cloth bag containing linen and towels, stating that it was my responsibility to take them to the room since they did not arrange for their delivery. Inquiring about the lack of air conditioning, I was informed that there were no such amenities available. When I asked if they had fans, their response was equally disappointing—they simply did not have any. The reception staff displayed a blunt and indifferent attitude, showing no remorse for the absence of these basic necessities. Even when I suggested that measures should be taken to provide at least a fan given the intense heat, they flatly refused and advised me to open the windows instead. Furthermore, when I reported that the Wi-Fi was not functioning, they expressed their inability to resolve the issue, leaving me puzzled as to why they didn't have a solution in place.

Considering the extensive wait we endured during check-in and the overall unhelpfulness of the reception staff, coupled with the poor treatment and lackluster service, I strongly advise against choosing this place for your stay.



Poor customer service and unhelpful staff and poor amenities

Nice place and good stay but services to customers can be better. We enjoy the location close to the new skivall to go to Peyragudes. The vikkage is quiet and restaurants are good. We regret to have to dress the beds and to bring back towels and linen to the reception when leaving.

The apartment is well located in Avery nice village. The facilities are ok. Although, the apartments are dirty and the staff are not friendly at all. When we did the check out the yelled us saying that we have to clean the dust under the beds. We stayed on week there, the dust was there before we arrived. We couldn't believe it that this was happening to us. I will never rent them an apartment again.
They said they the have Internet. Although, they only have Internet in the reception and they only give you one user for apartment no matter how many people you are. The reception is always closed so, you can not use it al all.

Dirty not friendly

We rent the apartment for 9 people although we were only 4 adults and 2 children. Lesson learned from years before as the apartments are terribly small. But be carefull,  you get only one wifii access does not matter if you rent 2, 4, 6 or 8 person place.
When we arrived the apartment was clean but I would say fairly clean, my mistake I should have checked under the beds. When my kids were playing one of them hide under the bed and he got an asthma attack which means it was full of dust but not the dust from one day. Other day I put a bag on the top shelf of the wardrobe and I had to take it out immediately as it got all dirty. You may ask yourself why I’m writing all those kind of  things so here is the reason, the day of check out!!! The only thing they did not do was the test of the white glove! Obviously we cleaned the apartment and we asked for the inspection. The lady said that there was dust under the beds and that there were dishes in the dishwasher (it was still working as we had breakfast that morning), the grandparents (we left before with kids) explained that the apartment was not so clean when we arrived and that even one of the kids got asthma attack because of the dust and that the top shelf was full of dust. The only answer they got was that the cleaning lady can not reach the top shelf thus they asked to speak with manager or director. I’m not going to get into details just want to add that they had threatened 70 years old people to call the police! And they made these old people to clean all the apartment once again (even that it was clean) all the kitchen again,  all the bathrooms again, vacuum cleaning under the beds of course etc etc so here is our story…

Apparently fine but... 

As locations go, you can't fault this apart/hotel. We took six-person apartment, and although we were only a couple with a baby, it was very cosy. Possibly too cosy. We kept on saying to ourselves - 'imagine coming here as a group of six...' But if you like living in each other's pockets and plan to spend all of your time outdoors, then you'll be just fine. It's a 5 minute walk to the Balnea spa. Plus, there are several lovely restaurants in town, plus a small supermarket not too far away. The lake is simply fabulous. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. It's a decent place - just a little small. If you're staying with a baby, then you need to put he/she in the living room and you take the bedroom. There's barely enough enough room to walk around the bed, let alone put your suitcase or a cot in there too.

Excellent location but a little too cosy for our liking

You were meant to wash the floors when you left, but there was no soap. There was no linen for the beds (but I had a sleeping bag). There was some kitchen equipment, but rather sparse. No toilet paper. This is a modern, uncharming place. I stayed one night in June, and I was the only guest in the whole building. 

It is a winter sport place, and teaming with people in the winter, it might be better. It might be suited for families that like to take care of themselves (there is a Carrefour shop right across the street). The nature is breathtaking, but tourism is more than a quickly built chalet and a ski piste.
