Excellent! Best quality/price ratio, impeccable cleanliness, tasteful and neat decoration, delicious dining. The place is magnificent, this stay was truly of impeccable quality! We are delighted, I recommend the guest room le Marronnier where we were able to enjoy the fireplace, the roasting bath, and a bottle of champagne on offer. It was truly a very generous evening for the prize.

It's a perfect night at Fère in Tardenois.

Through the initiative of the Portes de la Champagne, I had the opportunity to discover this magnificent place. From the outside to the inside everything is refined and elegant. The bed is very comfortable and the room is impeccably clean. Caroline's reception is warm and friendly, while the cuisine is succulent. I highly recommend you, everything is assembled to have a great time!

What a weekend.

We spent a perfect and romantic night in this very well-maintained establishment. A beautiful building with lots of charm, sober and elegant decoration, exemplary cleanliness. We were in the cosy brown suite with a very comfortable bed and the balneo bathtub large enough for 2. After a walk around the ruins of the castle we enjoyed a relaxing massage (extra option). Then we had a copious and tasty dinner in the room accompanied by an excellent champagne under the light of the creeping caminee. After a good night's sleep we enjoyed a breakfast. All the products were once again served by Caroline, often homemade and in generous quantity. B, we will recommend and come back as much as possible!

Calm and Romantic

It's a very beautifully renovated country house with 5 bedrooms. In a family atmosphere, you'll feel welcome immediately. Caroline, the owner, uses fresh ingredients to cook, partly from her own garden. The rooms are all different but of the same standard.

On the way home

It's a very nice house, a very friendly welcome, Caroline and her husband make us want to stay, they're passionate, a very good kitchen with garden vegetables, beautiful rooms, everything is sweet, nice meetings.

Weekend guest rooms door arcy

We had a very nice weekend at Caroline's. The house is beautiful, the perfect bedroom with a good mattress and a great bathroom. The terrace is very nice especially since we were lucky enough to have the sun. The pool, tennis court, ready for bikes: everything is there so as not to get bored. The little deer is at the top. Caroline is very willing and full of little attention and good advice! The surroundings are full of beautiful surprises to visit.

Idyllic setting and warm welcome

I was visiting the Champagne region as a remembrance for my grandfather who served in the area during WWI. La Porte d’Arcy is ideally located for this purpose, just a few miles from the Oise-Aisne American Cemetery. I couldn’t have hoped for a better place to stay. Caroline is a wonderful host and the property is beautiful. I highly recommend having dinner at her table. Many of the vegetables are picked fresh from the garden. There are horses, a pool and lots of chairs to enjoy on the back patio. The wine is from her father and the honey comb at the breakfast table is made by bees on the property. Truly a wonderful place. I hope to return.    

Superb retreat in the Forest

A group of us spent a week here. The home is clean and comfortable. The host are number one serving delicious meals upon request. I definitely recommend staying at La Porte d'Arcy. This area of France is wide open and beautiful. The villages and communities are friendly, inviting and accommodating. Please consider this home for lodging. You will be very pleased.

Beautiful and Welcoming

We just finished a one week stay to commemorate WWI that was perfect in every way. Caroline and her family were gracious, friendly and made us feel at home. She even adjusted breakfast each day to meet our timeline and preferences. 
The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. Even during their hottest days of the year, we had a cool breeze in the rooms at night.
We enjoyed our stay much more than friends staying very nearby who paid twice the price! I will definitely stay here when I return to the area!

Traditional, Warm, and Perfect stay 

It's an ideal setting for relaxing as a couple or as a family. It's a cozy and warm home, the meals are very good and the rooms are very clean. We really enjoyed our stay even though it was very short.
