My sheets were used - stained and clearly unwashed. It was party night in town so no one at the counter to bring it up with. So I took it at my stride and slept in the used sheets - not at all pleasant. I told the owner the next day, but received no discount. I found it mean and inhospitable.

Otherwise, the hotel is fantastically located, the rooms very quaint and comfortable and breakfast perfect.

If it weren’t for the sheets it would have been a perfect stay

Extremely helpful owner / host of Australian origin who was exceptional in giving walking and touring assistance/ advice

We had one of the front rooms looking on to the square with an amazing view of the church and mountains.  However the church bells ring on the hour throughout the night so whilst we slept badly the first night we learned to shut the windows and shutters and use the small portable fan which made sleep much easier the second night


On a beautiful square 

A load of character, right opposite the old church, central location. We used it as a base for cycling up Tourmalet etc. Nice to sit outside in the sun and have a local beer. I had a room at the front, noise was no problem at all. Plenty of breakfast.

Family run 3 star hotel, very welcoming relaxed atmosphere. Sian & Laurent are happy to recommend places to visit or hike and will organise guides.
Great breakfast including gluten free. 
In a beautiful part of the Pyrenees, wonderful wildflowers, we will definitely return.

Great place to stay.

Travelling in France last August with my teenage son, I wanted him to see more than the big cities. So we went south, to Luz Saint-Sauveur in the Pyrenees, and checked in to Hotel Les Templiers. It was just as I'd hoped, with our room at the front of the hotel and overlooking the centuries-old "Les Templars" church. We explored locally and into the mountains (walking one day, e-bike the next, venturing into the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Cirque de Gavarnie and up the Col des Tentes' 2200m, and on a quieter day wandering across the village to the thermal baths). The hotel is gorgeous, with real French character and friendly staff and management. We enjoyed a buffet breakfast each morning in the dining room, which set us up well for the day and proved to be a social occasion as well. We met various other travelers, all from other parts of Europe, happy to exchange greetings or news of experiences. Late afternoons we enjoyed afternoon teas outside, in front of the hotel or in the courtyard closer to the church. As well as a number of organic wines, the hotel offered a selection of delicious cakes and a local cheese platter. The hotel didn't offer dinner at the time, but had plenty of local recommendations that proved to be very good. It will be a while before I get back to that side of the world, so I'm glad to have such happy memories.

Room with a view - in the heart of Luz Saint-Sauveur

Was looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for a 2 day biking excursion in  they Pyrenees.  I found this hotel from a recommendation of the bike rental outfit.   It was perfectly located in the heart of Luz St. Sauveur and provided everything I could ask for as a base camp.  The room was cozy and the breakfast provided everything needed for a day on the bike.  The hotel also provides a secure space for your bike which takes the worry out of storing over night.  I would stay here again if in the area.
