This hotel was great in many aspects:

1. The staff could easily talk in English and they also helped us out with directions / taking care of our luggage at the next morning.

2. The room was big, nice and warm. There was a tv and a mirror. The bed and the floor was super clean.

3. The shower was separated from the toilet. Although they were kind of small, they were completely clean and shiny.

4. Although the hotel was fully booked, it was quiet.

5. Great location. From there, you can go walking to different attractions (20 to 30 min) the train station is also really close to the hotel, and there´s public parking 

6. The hotel in general was really nice.

7. They have an elevator. But, also, the stairs are not narrow.

Comftable room and great location! + Nice and helpful staff

Because we we're overbooked in another hotel in Lyon we ended in Hotel d'Azur. We payed the money we agreed for the first hotel. The welcome here was good, they speak very good English. There we're some small issues with the WiFi but the manager put a lot of effort in solving this and even offered us a free breakfast for the Inconvenience. The location is perfect. We bought at the reception for 13 euros a 24 hours parking ticket for a nearby parking garage that would normally charge 24 euro. Also a nice service. Rooms are good and clean for a 2 star hotel. 

Nice hotel

The hotel is in a very good area, between 2 metro stations and very close to one Railway station. It is easy to reach from the airport . It is a walking distance to center, historical area and the shopping center. The street can be noisy in the very early morning due to cars which are delivering goods to the shops and this could be a problem for a long sleep. The rooms are large and the receptionists very helpful. A good place at a reasonable price.

Hotel Azur Lyon France

The room was small but nice, the bathroom was small too but it was new and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great deal for 2 stars hotel. Totally recomend it, the location was amazing and the overall experience was great. The only problem was with the wifi that didnt work in my laptop. (It did work on the phone)

The only thing going for it is location. 
Informed that parking was free but we had to pay when checking out. Pillow was stuffed with broken bits of foam. Shower head was broken and no water pressure. 1 set of towels for 3 people. When we asked for more the hotel gave us 3 small towels. Check out was void of any notion of service or interest. I felt as if I was in a $10 per night roach motel. If you don't care about any level of service or room quality then stay here. But, for the money, THERE MUST BE WAY BETTER PLACES. Massively disappointed. Unprofessional and unworthy of Lyon.
