This hotel has fabulous ambience and does not have the feel of a bland and conventional hotel. Beautiful stone walls ands large airy rooms. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.  Bathrooms are very clean and roomy. Easy to get around from here  and see the sights. Lots of bars and bistros nearby.

Quirky hotel.

This lovely small hotel is just round the corner from the Saone and the Passarelle Saint-Vincent in a quiet side street.  The staff are welcoming and friendly and the rooms contemporary and comfortable within a lovely old building with wooden beams and stone walls.  Very cool on a hot day!

Perfect location and lovely rooms

Stripped back brick walls, weird and slightly wonderful layout, good sized rooms (but ask they do vary), not a bit like a "standard" hotel. Front of house staff very helpful - take their advice on restaurants and the like.  Very well placed for the old town and the Town Hall/opera.  Amenities good, shower well powered, wifi worked. Good value as well.

Good size rooms, great location, helpful staff, interesting building and good value

Thanks to the location, really friendly staff and quaint architecture, this three star hotel exceeded our expectations. Fortunately we are able to carry our bags but the lack of an elevator could pose a problem for some travelers. We found the room a bit warm and were unable to lower the thermostat but overall good value for the price.

Good value for price

Has a perfect location , in the heart of Lyon, especially to visit city on foot. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but may have some more facilities. Reception staff are good english speaker and helpful. Breakfast was not sufficient

Perfect location, clean and comfortable 

The hotel is located in a quiet but central side street. Our room was very big, minimalistic and modernly furnished with a nice wooden floor. The bed and the shower were excellent. Unfortunately the room had poor sound insulation, we could hear the telephone conversation of the guest above us (at midnight). We did not eat breakfast.

Comfortable

Quite a deceiving facade making you worried of your choice while standing outside. Then you entered and are faced with a jovial receptionist boosting a sincere welcome. A quick glance around shows you a spotless reception area. A quick and helpful check in later and then the discovery to the well lit stairs and corridor leading to your room. A tap of a key card opens the door to an average sized room with modern lighting and furniture. Large bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin with fluffy towels, soap and shampoo. Room and bathroom are very clean, well maintained and features warm colours. The bedding is firm and comfortable. A/C and heating are appropriate and efficient. 
The continental breakfast is satisfactory with a nice coffee, croissant, fresh baguette, juice, yoghurts and fruits compotes. 
Very easy access to the Vieux Lyon via a passerelle over the river almost in front of the hotel. 
Surprisingly good for a 2 star hotel. 

Surprisingly good 

We stayed hear for one night. The hotel is located very close to the Old City, just across the bridge opposite the hotel. Very comfortable room, with good shower. The proprietor was really friendly & helpful, giving us tips on where to visit on our short stay, and recommending a nice restaurant nearby.

A really good find!

Spent one night at the Hotel. 
The location is fantastic, right next to the old city and near one of the beautiful murals.
Rooms were recently renovated and were clean. Free wifi and most importantly a working air conditioning. 
The front desk people were very helpful
