We had a reaaly nice time in Lyon in this beautiful appartment that was absolutely perfect for our family. Thanks to the tips of our hosts we visited nice museums, had delicate food at nice restaurants and enjoyed our trip very much! We can highly recommend this appartment!!

Great days in a great city and a great appartment!

We were in honeymoon and stayed 2 nights in this great B&B. Lovely owners, helped us to get to know Lyon and gave lots of usefull tips. Spacious room, or suite, with elegant bathroom. Very clean! Not the best location if your target is old town as it takes about 30min to walk, still services close by. Very convenient parking, in owners garage.
Highly recommended!

Great stay!

This was the last place we stayed in before travelling to Paris and we felt disappointed to leave.
Situated in a more residential area of Lyon we were thrilled when we met my Soued, the lovely and extremely hospitable owner of Villa des Canuts.
If you have a car, secure parking is provided and it is only steps away from the accommodation which located on the lower level of her home. 
Our family of five enjoyed a two bedroom suite which was both spacious and tastefully decorated with simple yet functional pieces. We also appreciated additional touches like refreshments upon arrival as well as the pod coffee machine in our bedroom.
Soued is very informative with restaurant recommendations that are all reachable by foot if you feel like a nice stroll for no more than 15mins.
If you are looking for a clean, safe and family friendly place to stay that's not too far away from Gare de la Part-Dieu, do yourself a favour and book this wonderful B&B.

One of the nicest B&B's we ever stayed in!

Although it describes itself as a B&B it is actually a self-contained studio apartment and if you want breakfast it can be provided for an extra €10 pp per day (excellent pastries).  This is not made clear when booking. The accommodation is very nice and comfortable, a large bedroom, sitting area and modern bathroom.  There is limited provision for self-catering (a microwave but no hob).  Good wifi. The apartment is in the semi-basement of the house (where the owners live) and has an attractive shady terrace at the front.  It remained cool in very hot weather (although I think there was a portable a/c unit if required). The location is excellent, in a nice street in the interesting district of Croix Rousse where there are plenty of restaurants a few minutes away.  It is walkable to the old centre of the city - about 20 minutes downhill.  There is a metro station not far away too - good idea to take the metro back up the hill at the end of the day! The main snag with the property is the fact that it is impossible to park nearby.  The public carpark a hundred yards away costs €35 a day.  Although technically there is free street parking outside the property we never managed to find a space large enough for our estate car.

Very attractive accommodation but not easy to park

This B&B is situated in a quiet neighborhood of Lyon and offers everything that is necessary for a nice city trip. Public transport is not so far away, but it's better to enjoy the walk downhill to the old town or centre of Lyon, you'll pass some nice quarters of this beautiful city.
The owners are very friendly and will serve you some nice breakfast at the terras. The accommodation is modern and clean and has equipment for small cooking. The beds are very good. You can park your car in the owner's garage.

Very nice B&B in a quiet neighbourhood

I stayed in a nice small apartment in a very nice location in the Croix Rousse which is a super lively neighbourhood and it was exactly what I wanted. Big shower, comfortable bed, sofa and tables. Space for working and small kitchen with basic tools.

The apartment is basically below ground so very limited natural light and parking in the area is very expensive so one needs to consider an extra 40 euros per day if you happen to have a car.

Communication capability and availability of the host are very limited. I did not see them at all. They knew what time I was due to arrive and they did not tell me they were not going to be in location so I rang the bell and waited without hope. I had to call them to know how to get in.

Also I was in need of some help and advice and got no replies to my requests. It seems to me it would be rather easy to improve this part, communicating efficiently thus improving significantly people's experience in this place.
