We stayed one night here prior to driving to Calais and received a warm welcome from Annette and her little dog, Ruby.  Car parking is on the pavement outside.

Our room was cosy and clean with a glass door leading to the en suite and only window.  We had a small fridge and tea/coffee making tray.  Breakfast was the best we had on our travels and the fresh crepes were consumed immediately.

Annette has a sense of humour and speaks good English.  She is quite a character and enjoys her guesthouse visitors.

Warm welcome

Annette's house is one of the best guest houses I have been to. Clean, well designed place with a welcoming owner. Breakfast is rich - you will not be hungry for sure! The swimming-pool has some extra things for swimming - kids will enjoy them! The bathroom was my dream) A cute playful dog is a bonus for pet lovers. I highly recommend this house!

Simply wonderful!

Being received by Annette is like visiting an Aunt or Grandmother: welcoming, polite and ever helpful.  The breakfast is so bountiful... the various breads and crêpes.  The pool is a wonderful way to relax in the evening and the garden is peaceful for sipping wine.  We stayed in a family room.  Very much like a guest room at a relative's house but the children's beds have some privacy and are close.  The bathroom facilities are modern and the common room/lounge feels like home.  Hidden treasure not that far from the battlefields, memorials and museums of Arras and Vimy, as well as stadium in Lens.

Very Welcoming

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed on 24th August, 2016, on route from Calais to Dijon / Lyon. Annette was really nice and accommodating and, in particular, put in extra effort to ensure my husband, who has coeliac disease, had a good gluten free breakfast. 
The accommodation had 3 joining rooms with openings between them, separated by curtains and included; there was a double, (kingsize?), bedroom with a small fridge / freezer and also tea/ coffee making facilities; a separate room contains 2 single beds, including a guest bed, and there was a good sized bathroom with a separate shower and bath; the bath had integrated ‘jacuzzi’ bubbles, (we didn’t use the bath). 
All of the rooms were very clean, nicely decorated, and felt quite spacious. 
My husband and sons used the swimming pool; it is the same depth and was approx. 1.2’ish’ m deep; it wasn’t cold and was very refreshing after the day’s long drive from Bristol.
Annette kindly gave us details of a local café for a quick ‘biting on’ on the evening we arrived, and this café served burgers, chips, etc, and salad. It was ok for a short stop, and dinner for 4 of us was about 40 euros. 
The breakfast was very good and the boys really enjoyed playing with Annette’s dog after breakfast enabling me to pack in relative peace. Overall, it was very nice and enjoyable, and we would definitely stay again.

Would definitely recommend Annette's Home

Only about 10 minutes drive from the motorway, Annette's Home has so much more character than our usual stops at a Campanile. It was clean, comfortable and had all we needed for our stopover. Big garden and a pool. Lovely breakfast.
