Beautiful former farm complex in Meaulte, lovely and clean, the breakfast was nice and fresh too. The rooms were very clean and a the decor is fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble for Muriel, she is a fantastic host. I would very happily stay here again.

Fantastic Hub for the Somme battlefields.

What a Gem of a place to stay, Muriel the owner was an excellent host and ensured we were looked after, the food being Continental Breakfast was more than adequate and plenty of it, the accommodation was excellent the room was very presentable clean and tidy . The only issue we had was the village offered no amenities and you had to travell into Albert for your evening meal and a drink,  this was only 2-3 miles Drive so was not to much of a problem but overall great location

Stay at Un Parfumerie De Campagne France

We stayed for three nights when visiting the
Somme memorials. Meaulte is a quiet village just outside Albert - the accommodation was first class and beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the main house and offers a variety of choices for a continental menu. Car parking in the enclosed courtyard.  Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Superb

A really nice B&B. We had one of the triple rooms in the loft. Heaps of space. Great value and a nice, generous  breakfast. It's the kind of place that you would like to stay at for longer or come back again.

A gem of a place

Such a pleasure to return to what must be the best B&B in France.
We thought it was just about perfect on our previous visit but it's even better now.
Since we were last there Muriel (and with a liitle help) has converted part of the ground floor building into a huge room, so beautifully fitted and decorated.  An enormous and equally well fitted bathroom.
A delight to stay there and very good to see that Un Parfum has weathered the storm of Covid and come out gleaming.
Muriel puts so much effort and enthusiasm into making her home so warming to visitors and is so helpful when her guests need a little help.
Be proud of Un Parfum Muriel, you desrve to be.

A return visit for us and it's a real pleasure to stay there.

For once I would almost miss the words: spacious rooms, tastefully decorated, very clean and the breakfast room, etc. Add a warm welcome and you'll understand the title of the review.

A perfume of perfection

A real gem.  We were greeted by Muriel on arrival and made to feel so welcome, as she told us we were her first British guests of 2021.  She is the most charming host.  The hotel is picture perfect and full of character, a group of buildings around a central courtyard, ideal parking.  We took 2 rooms, both of which were absolutely huge, beautifully decorated, chic and well equipped.  Breakfast was outstanding.
I would make a point of staying here again.  Ideally situated for visiting the battlegrounds and war graves in the area or - as in our case - just an overnight stop not too far from Calais.
The only adverse point I would note is that although this is a non smoking hotel, it was obvious that a previous occupant of my room had not respected the rules - hopefully this was a one-off situation as our other room was fine


Delightful hotel; charming host

The Bed and Breakfast is run by a young couple. Very warmly welcomed. The rooms are all very tasty and modern in the bathroom/toilet area. Very clean. Quiet place very close to Albert (there is the World War I museum under the church very highly recommended). There is still a small restaurant, but otherwise rather a quiet place. Nearby there is an Airbus work - also interesting to see from the outside. But you get nothing else with it - if you are afraid of noise. Breakfast is wonderful, you can choose from a huge list. In a sidewalk are built a few play equipment: kicker, arrow and bow. And in the barn there is a chicken coop. We come back beautifully in front of the kitchen.

Beautiful in the Somme area

Super family room for 4 people. Very modern equipment and design. Decoration of good taste. impeccable cleanliness. Very pleasant and spacious living rooms. Lunch at the top with lots of homemade products.

A great address to test.

This place is absolutely lovely and the rooms are great. But the breakfast is something else - WOW! 

Huge rooms on the upper floor of a very old farm house have been converted to en-suite bedrooms. The decor is lovely and everything is immaculate, the bathrooms in particular. 

Now what about the breakfast? Well... so much choice, such quality and again, great attention to detail. And before you have even managed to finish any particular item it is topped up just in case you still have room for anymore!!!

All in all this place is a lovely little diamond in a tourist area where quality and value for money have become increasingly hard to find due to the commercialisation of the Somme battlefields following the centenary. 

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
