Staying in Keyla Chalet was a real treat, in the heart of Megève and walking distance from the centre and shopping district - ski cable lifts to the mountain.
Had great time. The chalet is new and the decor is very modern and was decorated with much attention to details.
It has 6 bedrooms, nice open living room, American kitchen, spa and parking for 4 cars.
Good for family gathering and spending quality time.

Family gathering and New Year celebration

We have just stayed 5 nights in this lovely comfortable family chalet. We were a big group of 6 adults and 6 young children - a lot of us - but we all fit in with room to move as the chalet is over 3 floors. 
The best part of the chalet is the absolutely lovely girls who are looking after you - the lovely Sarah and Bridget- they always had a smile on their face and were happy to have a chat about the day or anything really!
Paul & Kate (the owners) came along to introduce themselves and make sure everything was in order, both are very warm and friendly people who you could tell just want to make sure everyone enjoys themselves in their chalet.
It is well worth renting the while chalet and having your meals included. The girls are super cooks and have been trained by a local chef who has done a great effort in passing on his secret recipes! We had 3 course dinners each night with wine included, as well as a good spread for breakfast and even beautiful slices, brownies and the most delicious cream cakes left for afternoon tea! You will go home a few kilos heavier but with big smiles on your face at the memory of the fondue night! So a big round of applause for the fabulous girls! 
The chalet is in a family style, yes there may be a couple of chips in the tiles in the bathroom (although the other bathrooms were newly done) but the beds are very comfy and warm and the whole feel of the chalet is one of "ahhhh it feels liike home" 
There are sleds in the garden for the kids to play on and as the chalet is right on the edge of the village it takes only a about 5 mins to walk to the centre past shops and chalets - tip take the first little street on the right and you dont have to walk along the road with crazy drivers....might be rue d arroz - 
Stay here, it's lovely with the nicest people!

Cosy Family chalet

You have to understand what  chalet accomodation is otherwise you may be disappointed. It is mainly a British invention where it is closer to staying in a home than a hotel : informality and communal living  riegns -- the hosts English. This is a really good example. Paul, owner and the chalet lad (who both live offsite) prepared excellent breakfasts (freshly backed pain au chocolate/crousants , eggs to your choice, porridge). Paul spent a couple of mornings showing us the slopes. The bus route connecting to the two main lifts passed within 200ms.  For most of the evenings we cooked our own meals - and they were very relaxed about us having the run of the kitchen, but two nights Paul cooked us a meal (17.5 euros including wine and beer for that evening) which was well recieved. Little things stick out as raising this above the norm :like slippers provided, the log fire being made up  in the morning so we could light it when we got back in the evening, and the feeling that Paul and Sam were trying to make the whole stay pleasureable for  the group. We had a group of 9 (2 couples and 5 singles who each had their own room- though a couple of these were small)

Great Chalet

We stayed at this B&B only one night off season. It is a very familiar place as Kate and Paul will make you feel like at home. There is a living room, a small kitchen and 5 guest rooms. We stayed in the double with bathroom that gives straight on the living room and it was great for having our toddler going around. But maybe it can get noisy if you have many other guests. We had a great breakfast prepared for us and Kate told us she can organise a dinner in the evening if you need.
I would recommend if you are looking good value or if you want to book several rooms with your friends. The location is quite central in Megeve, just out of the pedestrian area.

Small, Familiar, good value

We visited Chalet Megeve in September 2012 on the first night of a charity bike ride.  Lovely chalet with great facilities.  All the rooms and bathrooms were to a high standard.  The food was incredible and the hospitality could not be beaten.  The owners could not do enough to help us.  Would highly recommend.
