We stayed for 2 nights on our way back from our main holiday and were totally enthralled by this place.  It was elegant, comfortable, welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.  Valy and Walter were incredibly helpful and friendly.  Would definitely recommend and we hope to stay again soon.

Superb 2-night stop over

We stayed for two nights in a family room which was perfect for our needs. Very clean, spacious and quiet with a really comfortable bed and lovely decor. 

The owners were incredibly friendly people and made us feel so welcome. 

Breakfast was really thoughtfully presented with some excellent local produce.  

It's in a perfect location for Chateau de Chambord. If we're in the area again I'd return in a heartbeat.

Outstanding stay with a personal touch.

Location is perfect if you are visiting Loira castles.
Owners are super cautious about COVID, with gel everywhere and constantly disinfecting common areas.
The hotel has great facilities, huge rooms, garden, swimming pool... and what to say about the breakfast!
 
Finally, they are attention to details and kindness of the owners is just GREAT!!

The place you must stay! 

This hotel may well be everything that the reviews say. We didn’t get to stay here so this is more a review of our experience. Arriving little jagged after a 24hr flight from Oz, we drove to the hotel hoping to at least drop our bags and maybe even get to check in at 4pm. The back of the premises may be tranquil however the front is right on a through road with nowhere near or obvious to park and gates and doors you can’t see through. Fair enough...check in is 4pm so no one could be raised.  Drove around back streets to see if we could park or find the premises with no luck. Went off for a drink and came back at 5.30 tho after knocking, ringing, calling out and ringing several times (hung up each time) we gave up and booked somewhere else. Still not sure what the heck happened as all the reviews are fab?

What happened?

We spend a wonderful night here and wish we could have stayed longer. The bed and breakfast is beautiful and the new owners couldn’t have been more welcoming.  We got a personal tour of the lovely garden and were able to sample some local fruit juice while chatting with the owner. She was even gracious enough to help us with dinner and even walked us to the restaurant we ate at.

Our room was spacious, it really had everything you could need.  The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens fresh and soft. The bathroom spotless and the huge soaking tub couldn’t have been better!

In the morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast of eggs, meat, jams, breads and most thoughtful a heart dessert, since we were there on Valentine’s Day.

The location is close to many of the Châteaus. It truly is perfect!! I would recommend highly!



You Must Stay Here

Lovely place, carefully decorated,stylish and very friendly.
Brought our dog with us,excellent safe enclosed garden as a busy road runs past ...
Don't be put off by that as the hotel is still peaceful...

Dog friendly hotel

The room (we booked the suite) was very comfortable and spacious.
Wonderful furniture - chosen with great charm. Linens were perfumed and good smelling which is something very rare but very appreciated.
My two children enjoyed the swimming pool which is located in a wonderful and relaxed garden with spots of tranquillity with a private small pond.
The breakfast is absolutely gorgeous with a wide choice of teas / croissants / juices and local cheese (goat cheese is a local specialty) and breads.
The breakfast lounge is near the living room where you can enjoy the design (lamps and sofas) and listen to jazz music.

Fantastic - great design in a sophisticated environment

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful setting with a friendly and welcoming host. We visited with our dog and had a lovely time with excellentrecommendations for local attractions. Would recommend this lovely B&B and would definitely stay again.
