My boyfriend and I stayed for just a night as we were visiting Bordeaux and we needed to catch an early flight. This was a great location for that as there is a bus stop literally outside and is one stop to (and from) the airport. That same bus also takes you straight to the city centre. The owner was very kind and even allowed us an early check in at 10am.
Rooms were a little basic and there were no toiletries but for the one night stay it was perfect for our needs.  

Quick visit to Bordeaux

An out of this world 'Art Déco'  in complete opposition to a very rude and grumpy owner.
It's noisy , there is no coffee at the bar ???  ,  and unlike it is mentioned on some sites , there is no toiletries in the minimal bathroom cubicle .... Cheap possibly but I strongly DO NOT ADVISE this place.

Awful

Stooped over en route from Spain to Cherbourg. Very busy road through Bordeaux to get to it. Limited parking. No restaurant, but has a bar. Rooms basic, but adequate. 
More budget hotels close by, some with restaurants. Reception area themed with Movie props, loads of Star Wars stuff! Reception staff did not speak much English on check in.

OK For journey break.

We chose this hotel as it is extremely close to the Bordeaux / Merignac airport, and it is inexpensive.  However, we very much enjoyed staying here.  The owner has developed a quirky and amusing decor, so it is not at all a cookie-cutter, identikit hotel experience.  Added to that, he was very helpful, giving us directions to the seaside, advice about traffic, and the location of the nearest gas station.  Added to that, he lent us a corkscrew and plates, and was chilled out and relaxed.  Our room, though basic, was clean and very quiet.  We found it charming, though not at all in a conventional way.  An amusing finale for our trip.

An Unexpected Delight

it is a small hotel near airport (5 min with public bus but there is also shuttle from hotel ) and the moment you enter the hotel you can be amused by the decoration and the owner Pascal who is very friendly. 
The room was very clean and tidy.
and I really like the breakfast concept; which is like open-buffet but in a more cosy and home-kitchen way.
If you look for airport hotel where you can as well have fun and smile this is the place to stay for sure.
