It's a nice little hotel run by a young couple, a perfect place to spend a vacation, where you can eat really good food for cheap, and the local produce is a delight, and we recommend you to have some snacks and truffles.

Charming hotel restaurant with an extraordinary view of the magnificent Romanesque church of Orcival

The hotel is very clean, comfortable room with good bedding, decoration still outdated but it is not essential and it has charm too! Room 26 has a nice surprise: :) Coated cuisine made from the terroir, generous meals and small dej. plentiful vegetarian proposals.

I recommend this small restaurant where the cuisine is very good and homemade. This establishment is run by a young couple who love their job and human contact.

Very good restaurant.

On the way to Spain, Orcival was our stop in the Auvergne. The nice little hotel is run by older gentlemen and has a nice view of the small restaurant on the ground floor, which surprisingly offers the region's fine specialities. The ambience is rustically rugged, especially as you walk through the steep staircase to the rooms (with caution, but feasible with bulky suitcases). The hotel was not the most modern, but comfortable, and had a nice view of the small bag that flows through the place.

Uriges Hotel behind the Basilica

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The room was spacious, quiet, the breakfast is excellent with fruit pies (abricots, blueberries, peaches etc.) homemade and delicious!

Welcome to this nice little hotel right across the street from the basilica. Perfect room. Perfect welcome for our big dog. Perfectly quiet the basilica doesn't ring at night. Perfect parking just outside the door.

It was a great night.

We stayed in this hotel one night, a bad experience we wish no one to have! A woman tells us that we can come in at 7pm with our 3 year old twins, we have just made a long journey, they need to sleep, so we will be able to put them to bed quickly since the arrival is possible between 2pm and 8pm. Covid crisis oblige, my husband comes in with a mask, a small suitcase and waits at the entrance of the hotel. A woman tells us that we can enter but the suitcase (and all his bags) must be in the car until 9:30pm. We are trying to find a good place to welcome our guests (a bad hotel arrangement).

Such an unpleasant and amazing experience!

Marie Laure runs her drum business in a good mood and unparalleled energy! We can only feel comfortable, as a family, cared for by the Patronne and Karine. They are always attentive to pleasing us. Cooking is a local tradition for our greatest happiness, good and generous. Everything is homemade. Breakfast is delicious and complete: Viennese, cakes, charcuterie, cheese plates, fruits... As for the rooms, they are clean, spacious and comfortable. If you are accompanied by your four-legged companion, he will also be very Accilli. Thank you both. You have contributed to the success of our vacation. So don't change the fat and fat chops!

Although selecting this hotel for its location and decent reviews, we suffered the same as some other reviewers and found that although having a confirmed booking there was no room for us on arrival.  Also the hotel does not seem to be open mid afternoon, so despite arriving at a reasonable time (3.30pm) and hammering on the door it was a while before we even found out that there was no room.  We were offered a room in the nearby L'Ajasserie de Orcival, across the village square, so are not able to comment on bedrooms, but took meals at the Hotel Notre Dame.  The meals were OK, with decent portions, and a bit of a sideshow from the owner during the evening meal!  Wish we understood more French, as everyone seemed to be enjoying it - maybe they were laughing at us as the only non-French in the restaurant!  Although English is offered at the hotel it is extremely limited.  On checking out the cost of the meals and rooms at the alternative location were combined, apologies once again offered with a bottle of wine as well.  Location is beautiful, but if you don't like last minute changes to a plan and don't speak good French then you have been warned.
