My husband and I stayed at Le petite Dragon Rouge from the 5th – 11th October 2015. We received a warm welcome from Carol, who showed us to our large family bedroom on the first floor, which had an en suite shower room. Our room was cleaned daily and the towels and sheets were changed every other day!
We had breakfast in a large room downstairs in the front of the house, and either Carol or her husband Peter would serve us a good continental breakfast, where the delicious croissants and bread were freshly baked from the local bakery and Carol had made some wonderful homemade yogurts. There was another French couple who spoke very little English and as we could only speak a little French, Carol and Peter would helpfully translate for us and join in on the conversations. They offered helpful advice on places to eat, visit, local customs and the time it would take to travel to attractions. They lent us maps and books on the locality.
Le petite Dragon Rouge is in a little village within an easy short drive to Rocamadour and other wonderful, beautiful villages, the Rivers Lot and Dordogne and The Gouffre Padirac, which we would highly recommend. 
We were made to feel very welcome by both Carol and Peter and would definitely stay at their home again if we were in that area.

Friendly and welcoming

We stayed here in July 2014 with our four children and were very pleased!  In the center of a region with lots of things to do for families (see www.les-incontournables.com), this is a great bed & breakfast location.  The church bells do ring, but that never bothers me - during our stay, the B&B and the whole town were very quiet.  It is a quaint old French building on the town square, where there is directly accessible, free parking.  Like all authentic French buildings, it has thick walls and so lots of cool air inside.  The owners have done an amazing job refurbishing it - new paneling, carpeting, newly painted, and very clean room.  At night the temperature tends to cool off - just open the window for lots of fresh, clean air - & the stars are amazing out here!  Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a while.

Beautiful B&B, great location in Lot

We found this hotel on an Internet search for a place to stay during our motorcycle tour of France. The day's ride had been hot and long so we were so grateful to pull up at a delightful hotel in a majestic little village.

We parked up the bikes and chilled in the ambience of the typically French B&B with a little Welsh twist to it. Sitting on the veranda at the front as the sun went down will stay in our memories. 

Carol and Pete are so hospitable and friendly mixing with the guests at breakfast (and in the evening). 

I would recommend Le Petit Dragon Rouge for a long or short break, however if for a long break be prepared to go self catering in the provided kitchen.

A great place to chill and relax

We have just returned from le petit dragon rouge after booking up the whole hotel for a family wedding nearby. Carol and Peter couldn't do enough for us and the place is spotless, value for money and we would definitely return if we were ever in the area again

Excellent

We have stayed at this hotel lots of times and have never left disappointed. The owners are delightful and extremely helpful. The rooms are very clean and come equipped with all essentials. The kitchen area for guests is a huge bonus and much appreciated. This hotel is perfect for all wanted to get away from the buzzing city life and to relax in a quiet pretty location. Close enough to all attractions and amenities. Would highly recommend to all.
