We stayed at this accomodation in August 2015. It has been one of the best places we have stayed at.
The owners were very friendly and have a lovely restaurant opposite which we ate at (we have reviewed seperately).
We stayed with another family. In all 4 adults and 4 children all under 8. 
The property is situated overlooking the vineyards of Monbazillac and beyond towards Bergerac which is a 20 minute drive away. 
It is conveniently located near to shops and the boulangerie next door serves lovely fresh bread and cakes. 
The property easily accommodates 8 people, a be it one bedroom is downstairs but we didnt find that a problem. 
There is plenty of room inside and out with a lovely sloping garden and a good sized heated pool. 
We would highly recommend this for a holiday in France and would definately return. 

Family and friends holiday 2015

The owners, who also own the restaurant opposite of the street, rent out their house and a separate gite, in which we were. Nice size, with downstairs a sitting area and kitchen (fully equiped) and upstairs a nice big bathroom with shower and sepratate toilet with bedroom. The bed was squeeking and small, and the mattress seemed to be covered by plastic. It is on a busy road, but we didn´t open the window, and had no problem with noises. 
Breakfast is waiting for you in the refrigerator and you can go get your bread at the bakery around the corner. 
The view is spectacular, but better from the house. And the pool is only for use of the big house and not the gite! something we didn t realise when we booked. 
Not far from Bergerac.

great views, sleeping comfort less

Having only stayed one night last year and regretting it, we returned for a 4 night stay. It doesn't fail to impress. Philippe is a lovely host and nothing is too much trouble. The gite is super; well equipped, clean, spacious and with a beautiful view over to Bergerac. On arrival the fridge is full of orange juice, butter and jams for breakfast and a short walk takes you to the bakery next door for fresh croissants and bread each day. Will we return? Mais oui bien sur :)

We spent two weeks here, June 2014. House is in an excellent location just 10 mins from Bergerac with stunning views over the vineyards of Monbazillac. The gite is extremely well equipped with good equipment in the kitchen, laundry room etc. Swimming pool is a great size and is heated. We had a great holiday and would definately stay again.

Great location, amazing view.

We have just spent a week in the gite which has everything, plus a little more, required.   Philippe & Monique are lovely people who ensured we were comfortable and had all we needed, including sufficient food & drink without having to make a mad dash to le Supermarche!   As another reviewer says, a VERY short walk to the boulangerie each morning took care of our breakfast needs and a fantastic meal in the restaurant last Saturday night was the icing on the cake.   For us, the property is perfectly situated with everything/everywhere we wanted to do/visit within an easy drive.   It is also, literally, less than 10 minutes from the airport.
