Ideal place to stay if you are looking for a nice clean and quiet hotel close to the A10. Montbazon had everything you need, a bakery, a butcher and a great supermarket. Many restaurants close to the hotel, even in walking distance. The owner is kind and his service is excellent. The rooms are efficient and overlook the garden, the shower is modern and excellent. Tge offered beakfast is more than sufficient.

Comfortable place close to Montbazon center and shops, access close to A10 Highway.

We stopped over on our journey down to Charente-Maritime and again - a week later - on our return. The hotel is well-placed a 10 minute drive from the motorway junction. You can rejoin the motorway a little further south at the next junction on leaving.We had a comfort double room. It was clean and perfectly adequate. It was quiet and overlooked a small garden. The breakfast buffet was great and set us up well. Patrice  speaks good English and is very helpful, recommending the restaurant opposite on our first night, and one a 5-minute drive away on our return (The Portofino).

Great Stopover!

We stayed here to break a long journey to the South of France. Our anticipated arrival time was delayed due to traffic and ferry delay, so we rang ahead. Patrick took our call, and was very helpful, making arrangements for our late arrival.
On arrival everything was smooth. Our keys and helpful instructions had been left for us.
Our room was clean, well maintained and perfect for what we needed. In the morning the breakfast was really good. Plenty of choice and all fresh and well presented.
The car park is secured overnight, which was another great point.
The staff, Patrick in particular was very helpful.
We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a stop over.

Perfect overnight stop

My husband & I stayed here whilst on a cycling tour. Given how cheap it was I was a bit nervous about what to expect but it completely exceeded expectations. We received a very warm welcome & were given access to an indoor bike garage that was very secure to store our bikes. Our room was simple but spotlessly clean & had good air conditioning. There is a pleasant garden at the back of the hotel which was nice to sit in and have a glass of wine before walking into town. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Welcoming, clean and comfortable

Calm Hotel, cheap, very welcoming, good for a quick stay. Manager very helpful (both Mr and Mrs) and devoted. We recommend because this was simple and easy. Well located, and good recommendation for food as well. 
Breakfast is very ok for the price.

What we needed for a one night stop

We were given a very friendly welcome, shown to our room and where we would have breakfast the following day. The rooms are quite adequate although the mattress was a bit firm, good shower and a separate loo. Our room overlooked the garden and was very quiet.

As it was a lovely evening we walked into the small town for dinner - just a gentle stroll down the hill.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

A good place to stop for a night or two en route to elsewhere. Our dog was made very welcome too!

Place to stay on our way south.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our cycling trip. It is clean, room is small and basic. It's located outside Montbazon town. The manager is friendly and helpful. Please note there is no restaurant on site, no coffee or tea making facility, although the manager let me use the breakfast provision to make a cup of tea. 

Basic but friendly service

Spent one night here and had a warm welcome from Patrice and Fabian.  They are hands on and take pride in their motel.  Both speak good English and are very helpful.

Clean room, comfortable bed and a TV with two English channels.  Good wifi and free parking on site.  Excellent fresh and tasty breakfast with lots of choice.  Would certainly stay again.

Well pleased

Without doubt one of the best , friendly and ultra clean hotels I have ever stayed in. It was a stop over enroute from calais to Perpignan in the south. Breakfast buffet very good for choice and quality. There is no dining fascility but across the road is spanish stle bistro/ restaurant which was quite acceptable and used by french people. I would say at the hotel again.
