Although out of season in June and not at its best, this campsite feels rather unloved. The pitches are quite close together and gravelled. There are shade trees between rows but not between pitches. Reception area is rather offputting and smelled somewhat unpleasant. The sanitary facilities that were open were clean but tired. Of all the sites we stayed on this month, this was the one we were most eager to leave.

Odd place

We are a family of 8 who stayed here in a tent August 2022 and had a great experience. First off, the pitch sizes are large, big enough to accommodate our huge 7 man tent with side extension and a day tent plus car. Secondly, the pitches are all very flat and grass (well mostly dusty earth at that time of year) making them perfect for pitching tents.  Most if not all of the pitches are very well shaded which is essential in temperatures that sit in the mid 30's in summer. There are statics as well but they tend to get booked up very early. The site is split into two fields of approximately the same size. The main site where the office, bar and swimming pool are located is by far the busier with entertainment laid on at least 3 or 4 nights a week, so if you want a quieter experience you should pitch across the road. The pool is large enough but can get rammed at times. There is an enclosed children's play area at the back of the main field but it's pretty basic. Showers and toilets are clean but get messy by the end of the day owing to the amount of dust generated by the hot weather.  Washing up area is new and contains more than enough sinks. The staff were always helpful and accessible and unlike some campsites they are pretty hands-off and let you get on with whatever you enjoy. They are easy going with guests and we had family friends join us for a day and their children use the pool without any issues. The downside to this is that you can get groups of youngsters camping near you and you will have to put up with the noise. It may be an idea for the campsite to locate these groups away from families in one part of the site. Prices were very reasonable, We paid about £50 per night for our pitch (incl electricity and 2 cars).  We had a portable fridge with us but the campsite hire out fridge freezers for 5 euros per day. If you're camping a fridge is an absolute essential. There is a cafe on site if you need food in the evenings and a pizza van usually comes on site once a week. Free wifi is available and works well even while streaming, Another positive is a brand new public outdoors sports complex just outside the site which contains gym equipment, tennis court, kids' play area, basketball and football pitches, picnic benches and toilets. The site is 5 mins drive from the nearest Lidl and 10 mins from Carrefour, 15 minutes from Beziers which is worth a visit and nice for walking around in the evenings. Beaches are superb, long stretches of golden sand with flat, shallow and calm sea and never more than 15-30 mins drive.  We found the location to be great for exploring nearby places. Barcelona is 3 hours away to the west, Montpellier and Marseille one and two hours drive east respectively. Sete is less than an hour away and a must visit especially in August when the annual boat jousting tournament takes place, not to mention for its beaches and renowned seafood. An hour north east is the city of Nimes which is famous for an amphitheatre that rivals the Colloseum in Rome. The venue hosts concerts and performances throughout the year. If you like hiking and hills, head north from the campsite following the path of the River Orb into the Parc Naturel du Regional Haut Languedoc, an area of outstanding natural beauty. To be fair we spent about half of our stay on site, with day trips and evenings out to most of these places. Criticisms? Not many if I'm honest but I would like to see more than one washing machine per field as you can be waiting for a while to do your laundry if there are people ahead of you. Also, as previously stated I think the campsite would get better reviews if it had a policy of separating groups of youths from families, Also we did experience issues with males using the female toilets. There was nothing we could do but politely remind the intruders that they were in the wrong place.  All in all though these glitches didn't detract too much from what was a very memorable holiday.  I would recommend this campsite on the grounds of value, hospitality, facilities and location.

Great family site

We stayed one night, the facilities that were open were immaculate, it was early in the season so it was very quiet.  
The pitches; although large were surrounded by hedges and tall trees which made getting into and out of the pitches very difficult in our T5 campervan!  I wouldn't have tried it with a caravan or large motorhome.
Only a short drive to the coast, the town and campsite were totally lacking in atmosphere. Although perhaps in the height of summer when the shade is necessary and the site has some life about it, it may look very different.

I'm just here for the beneficiary and the vacationer I'm crazy about the rental price his dear fact we're not in the middle of the season and nothing and I won't advise any of all this personal camping would be mine we're not on Wednesdays I have only one desire it's to go back but as I'm not alone my husband and the same opinion but for our children we just stay to sleep and we leave the day visit

Very very disappointed ghost camping

We're not coming back for 15 hrs from this miserable campsite or the big shade location and the mobile home clean at our arrival are the only positive points!!! welcome to a lady and stranger we barely understand and feel like we're bothering her when we ask her for information!! we have to ring off season because no one ever has the welcome!! wifi is saying around the pool, no connection!! from 14/09 more deals around the pool, while the campsite at 30/09!!no terrace in front of the mobile farm that is under the pine trees, I tell you not to close the adhesives that we put on it!!!! and that we have to dissolve with the swimming pool just before the EXTREMELY REAL GALLERY price!!!! we've lost the campsite after 15 hrs to the nearest campsite, no connection!! from 14/09 more deals around the pool, whereas the campsite at 30/09 is the only positive point!!

FURIOUS

Campsite at the foot of the village with enough shops to feed themselves. A nearby cooperative for lovers of good wine. Campsite with clean sanitary facilities. The sites are a little restricted for campsites-car because of too much vegetation (I scratched my vehicle and other tourists turned around halfway unable to maneuver.

A short stop.

We're back,great disappointment,clean,but very old kitchen utensils,but Mobil old man,no terrace,but from the land you drag on your shoes,clothing etc...,a nameless hassle and no friendliness,in ten days mm no greeting from the owners and employees,lost in a village or there's nothing,ha yes a grocery store or we don't find much,camping run by a Flemish owner who doesn't turn mm the breast to say hello,small unheated pool,no restaurant on site despite the site's sayings,reason for customers)...big disappointment,waiting a year to leave and land we're low,despicable holidays,despicable disgust

Once, but never again.

We booked this site with pitchup.com with the intention to stay here for 4 nights. 

Both fluent French speakers we met with the owner on arrival, who was very matter of fact and did not explain any details of the campsite or wishing us a nice stay, we can live with that. 

However ‘Mamie’ allows groups of yobs and thugs to stay at this site playing music to 5am on our first night which continued on the second night. They dominate the pool area, no security anyone can enter the site without without question 24/7. There is a real tense atmosphere on site and no security provision. 

Unless your up for rave parties and want to join in serious intoxication and shouting /arguing to the early hours, then this is not the place for you. 

On the plus side it’s a typical tree lined French style campsite which is used by a lot of people in transit. 

If you must stay here then ask for a double glazing company to fit out your caravan with soundproof windows and stay with your van! 

The site is not really cared for, and the maintenance person cannot even manage a bonjour.  

Our advice : don’t stay, after paying in full for 4 nights we left after 2. 

Horror! Don’t go

We didn't sleep for several nights because campers were going to the brothel until 4am, enjoying touring the places and bathing in the pool at 2am (which normally closes at 8am). We were sitting in the places in front of the campsite, at the back or even on the back. So we thought that a part of the campsite that was quiet is absolutely not hot. For what is a small swimming bar this year (we're not really sure), we were not allowed to stay here because the swimming master is more often in the village, but the water is not available to the younger people, but the water in the campsite is very safe. So when we go to the bathroom, we have a very nice bathroom. So when we go to the bathroom, we have a very nice bathroom.

This is a disaster!

We went to this campsite to a mobile home that you can rent for 80€ a night even though it's summer This is 25 minutes from Beziers The village of Mintblanc a 3 year old walking The campsite closes the reception which we don't know. Open from 9-12 circa and a little in the afternoon. To take into account if you arrive outside that time. No store, just a small bar where you can have something for the night or coffee and sell bread. Very kind receptionist and the bar girl. It has a pool and they do some activity every day, but few. Ideal for a very low price if you want to visit the area. Mobilhome equipped with everything except saunas and towels that you have to bring.
