A Refuge of Peace

We chose a menu of the day with entrance, plate and dessert or cheese. Well received by the host, we were not disappointed by the quality of the products, their freshness and presentation. The service was quick and cordial. There was nothing to be said about the cleanliness, either.

A gourmet walk in the country of Our Lady of Montfaucon in Velay!

On our way to the Ardèche we stopped by chance in this restaurant hotel. When we arrived around 2pm the restaurant welcomed us with open arms for two blankets despite the time. Located outside in the garden, the setting is really relaxing and family friendly. The food is of good quality as well as the quantities. So it's a good stop to make in the corners for a charming pose and a delicious plate.

It's a simple but pleasant hotel. It's a newly renovated room, perfectly clean. It's a nice staff. We're staying for a night.

A perfect step forward

Everything is nice,the rooms are super well renovated they are spacious the bedding is comfortable, I knew the hotel and the restaurant before its interior relooking. the park is nice shaded resting the kitchen is traditional the products are fresh and of high quality the breakfasts are copious the jams are made houses.there are many walks to make the atmosphere there is pleasant the owners are listening and good advice for excursions this is the same family for 4 generations and the reception is very pleasant

You don't have to go to the bluestone to get scammed to order 12 and 15 salads e a little green salad mini tomato! a slice of salmon for a 2 1/2 slice of ham and no seasonings. Go your way!!!!!!

We got there early because we were on the way to St. James's. We were kindly welcomed and served quickly. The beer plate was pretty good (a little hard meat and a sauce that didn't taste), a good velay salad (despite the very hard bread!) and good salmon pasta.

Have a good lunch.

After a hot day at the Mézenc, we arrived in Montfaucon, where the restaurant Hotel les Platanes is located. A courteous welcome left a good impression. Unfortunately the cleanliness was not a gamble! The blanket is dirty, the chairs are uncomfortable and dubious, the flies are dozens. We took the big menu: the liver fat in the entrance is fine, the meat bathes in a so-called cedar sauce, but the dish is the frozen and poorly cooked trout, with an alkaline smell! Fortunately the cheeses and ice cream came from elsewhere. My wife who used to go to this restaurant had an excellent memory in the past, but it was the worst of all.

Mediocre service we have to start eating by finishing the apero damage we wanted to take a tour again the entrance nothing top, meat much too cooked quantity of vegetables to review a tomato bun with cold auphinois gratin dsl but not at all satisfied I would not return
