Danny you are the best man to host tourist, me and mara are very happy to have founded you and your wonderful place.. So quiet so nice and very comfortable.

The best way to relax

What a  fabulous place to stay for a month in the studio looking out over a beautiful garden. Danny and Patricia are fabulous hosts providing fresh eggs, travel tips and a tranquil place to pass the time. I would highly recommend this for a long stay close to castles and the Petit Loire. Small villages are so charming!  Merci pour tous. 

Fantastic. Like home

We used the accommodation as a base to visit a number of French Chateaus and villages in the Loire Valley one a 5 day period.
The accommodation was a little cramped and "old style" but adequate for what we wanted.
The host had the most amazing knowledge of the area and the Chateaus to the point that he could recommend either a look from the outside, pay to go in or give a wide birth if not value for money. 
He was well prepared with local maps showing directions and supplied us with brochures and leaflets for all sorts of attractions.

Adequate Accommodation, Fantastic Knowledge

We've loved the garden and the forest! Here I was eating the best framboise :-) marmelade ever! 
Danny is an excellent host and he speaks English very well. Every day, he gave us ideas about new village and gardens and castles to see. And we don't hesitate to go....we've seen fantastique unknown area of the Loire. 
Just great to visit all the castles or just to relax in the garden or in the forest! 
Incredibil de frumos! Camerele sunt curate, fiecare cu baie proprie. Micul dejun este unul bogat pentru un mic dejun tipic cu croissante si cafea. Au dulceturi facute in casa, iaurt, fructe, nuci si multe tipuri de cereale. Ca pozitionare, este exact in inima Vaii si se pot face usor castelele. Cereti sfatul lui Danny pentru traseul zilei si mergeti pe mana lui!

Merveilleux! Just fantastique! Incredibil de frumos!

We based ourselves at La Marechalerie for eleven days in May/June 2017 to explore the chateaux of the Loire.  We had the most wonderful time and found that the studio accommodation was perfect for our needs.  Danny & Patricia were super-friendly and it was so nice to receive fresh eggs for our picnic lunches !  The studio was well-equipped for our stay and we were very sad to leave.  We will return !

Rural relaxing in the heart of the Loire !

The hotel is in an old restored forge in a very small village in the heart of the Loire region. 
The owners Patricia and Danny, receive you with a warm welcome and cold wine, when they give you a full detailed explanation of the place, the amenities and the region. Danny is very knowledgeable about the castles, particularly about old furniture, which you can appreciate in the hotel.
They both take care of the lengthy garden which I recommend to walk through.
Quiet, clean and boutique like rooms and common areas. Correct breakfast.
