This is the archetypal French Pension. Don't expect Nespresso machines in your room or rainfall showers. Instead, expect rustic charm, and a warm welcome from the friendly owner.

Yes, the decor is a bit dated, the walls are thin, the front door has a knack to it, the shower's a bit wonky. But it has everything you need for a stay. The owner is a real gem. She dried our clothes for us, looked after my friend when he was ill, suggested restaurants.

Breakfast was lovely. Fresh bread and good coffee (plenty of it), jam, fruit yoghurt, cake. I don't know what the people complaining about it were expecting - a choice of full English or smashed Avocado on toast?

Decent location. It's probably 10 minutes walk to town and the ski lifts.

Friendly Pension

The owner was very warm and flexible, but we were disappointed with the place: the bedrooms are basic, the bathroom and bathroom are shared (and without soap), the breakfast is simple and the walls are paper.

A warm but very basic welcome

If you want somewhere just to lay your head then this is fine. The rooms are basic and have shared toilet and shower facilities. Towels are provided but take toiletries.  The hosts are lovely however, though they have little English they make you feel very welcome indeed.  There is a large locked room for skis/boards and you can leave luggage there too.  Location wise, not bad, about a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of town with all the bars and restaurants and 5 minutes from the ski lift.

Basic but clean and friendly

This is a basic bed & breakfast. IF you can live with that, you will be fine.

Stayed for 4 nights in March. Our room was large, clean comfortable and warm, which is all I ask from a basic ski hotel. Yes, the bathroom was at the end of the corridor, yes the shower had no wall attachment, but is it really a deal breaker at the price quoted in the middle of a ski resort?

By the way, the owner is a lovely french lady who speaks little English! She is however warm and welcoming. You can see it is a home as well as a hotel.

Breakfast is basic, but acceptable to start the day.

The best news is the location - around 5 minute walk to both the Morzine and Super-Morzine lifts, so no wasting time on skibuses here. For the evening, short walk to the town centre, or a couple of minutes to a couple of decent restaurants & bars.

If you want a little luxury, this is not for you, however if you want a cheap, clean & central base, then you could do far worse and spend much more.

Oh, and views up the valley to die for as well!

Short break to Morzine

The main reason for choosing this hotel was that it was cheap and central. It's rooms are not en suite with a seperate toilet and bathroom a sprint down the corridor. Breakfast could easily be better. Really good central(ish) position.

Shower is a 2 person shower as NO WALL attachment

A very cheap stay with unreliable shared shower access (had to listen out for when it wasn't being used and jump in as soon as free) but it was all we needed for a super cheap end of season ski break. The Madame is so very welcoming and the homemade jam and cake at breakfast is superb!
French required for an easy stay, and is also much appreciated. 
Low cost, no frills, does what it says on the tin and is an easy 5min walk to the village and main lift.

Super cheap, no frills but very warm welcome! 

If the hotel is old and a little outdated, but it is well located in Morzine, with a very pleasant green space for the summer! The owner is very warm smiling and flattering and makes you feel comfortable right away. It's no chichis. We found the comfortable bed. Breakfast is simple but cozy.. perfect for us!

It's simple, but it's good

The room was clean, but a little messy because the couch was stained, so we didn't have breakfast because we'd rather leave our room early in the morning. Electricity that is certainly not up to our short standards we'd better ask ourselves in advance and don't hesitate to add a few tens of euros next time to get a hotel that would meet our expectations.

Disappointed

Our stay was very good! The reception was very warm, and pleasant. The establishment is very well located, only 3 minutes walk from the center of Morzine. Our room was comfortable with a very beautiful view, with a style of decoration a little old but what made it charming to be in the mountains. The two common bathrooms were the only bemool of the stay. However, we never waited to access it. Breakfast included --> simple but very good! To recommend without hesitation!

Our stay ads this establishment and in this charming town of morzine's announcement excellent at our arriver we have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hebergement room bright and comfortable.Unfortunately very quickly this c went wrong the landlady was very unpleasant with us during our stay hardly our suitcase laid that she was already making us an inventory of things not to do in her establishment.
