If you ever dreamt of staying in an authentic historical chateau, you can fulfill your dream here. The place is somewhat worn down by all the years, but offers a real feel for an old chateau, with period furniture and decorations. Lovely couple from Lebanon was taking care of us while we were staying there, and they were super friendly and helpful.

Chateau takes you back 200 years and offers a historical experience

This was a bucket list experience for me. Waking up in a chateau in the Loire Valley to a beautiful breakfast in a private room was a dream come true. For my husband who is not so excited about chateau, it was "meh". So, it depends on your perspective. 

I agree with an earlier review that it has a bit of faded beauty, but I think that's the charm. I wanted to be in a place where I could imagine all the earlier familes who took their breakfast in the same space.

We had the Loius XV suite which had ample space for 3 and a gorgeous view. There was plenty of parking. The breakfast was delicious and generous. 

Experience chateau life

Beautiful welcoming chateau on the banks of the Loire.  Very comfortable, perhaps you might say ‘faded elegance’.  Been in the same family for many generations. Wonderful hosts who could not have done more for us.  

Huge terrace with plenty of furniture, wonderful to watch the sun go down. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, charming chateau

Uncomfortable rooms with poor quality services, unjustified high costs, unflattering furnishings, bathroom to be renovated, insects and spiders, unacceptable advance payment, only quality: plenty and good breakfast.

We were eight and we had a wonderful stay in this beautiful setting. Everything was perfect, from the welcoming rooms, everything was clean, the breakfast was plentiful with good products. The setting was charming and the owners adorable.

Very nice stay in a beautiful setting

We stayed one night at the Château de Colliers to celebrate a surprise birthday. The host perfectly played the game and listened to our special requests to make this moment unique. We were very well received. The castle is in its juice, beautifully decorated and that's what makes this place authentic. So notice to those who think of staying in a castle décor hotel, this is not the concept here! Perfectly located 5 minutes drive from Château de Chambord, the place is quiet. The rooms (Bela and Romantique) are comfortable, and make even better than the photos on the site. Thanks to Didier for this memorable stay!

A short but memorable stay

At the entrance to Chambord and Beauval, ideal place for a family meeting, friendship or a birthday. Very warm welcome, 6 different suites all decorated with taste. An abundant and varied lunch. A beautiful terrace on the Loire for tea or appetizer. Two comfortable rooms typical of a historic family home. An excellent candlelight dining. An exceptional weekend. We dream of returning there!!!

Ideal for family or friends at the Chambord gate

I chose to celebrate my birthday with family and friends with a small reception in the beautiful lounges of the Château and a festive dinner in the gardens or a tent and floor were installed in the garden. Rooms are well maintained and comfortable while respecting the charm of another era. Highly functional bathrooms and the location is perfect for tours or rest on the Loire. The teams are very kind and we keep a very good memory.

A corner of peace and pleasure

Nothing to say about the castle, beautifully situated on the banks of the Loire. Excellent welcome from the landlord. The room overlooking the Loire was perfect. The dinner served at the guest table, certainly prepared at the last minute, was not up to the asking price.
