Firstly, this cannot be called a hotel, it is a vineyard with a few rooms as an after thought. Our room was very small, windowless with doors opening onto the garden. The views were spectacular (which is why it received 2 stars, otherwise it would be none ) but we had no privacy at all. We had to have our door open or perish in the heat, but to get to the 'car park' or pool, everyone in a downstairs room had to  pass us. The road to the property was a dreadful track of large and sharp stones, you had to walk on these from where you were allowed to leave your car. I found a torch, left with the cups and though we weren't told,  quickly realised that you needed this to help you find your way at night and be able to unlock your door. The property was very poorly lit. When the wind blew a certain way there was a smell of sewage. 3 nights out of the 4 we stayed I was woken by the sprinkler raining down hard between 2 and 2.15am. We had one breakfast, arriving 5 min after the other 3 couples , to find the cheeses had all gone and most of the fruit (this wasn't because the other guests were greedy but because there was not much food). We saw others taking their own yoghurt and fruit! For this the charge is €12 per person! The staff were elusive. We were told we couldn't use the pool after 6pm (we don't know why) but everyone ignored this and there were no staff around anyway. The pool was large but very difficult to exit. This property is not suitable for children or the elderly. We paid €484  for 4 nights (plus the usual taxes). I consider this extortionate  for what we received.

poor value for money

We had been holidaying on the Canal du Midi : old fashioned barge so not quite so relaxing. we arrived for a 2 night stop at Mas du Soleilla and were not disappointed.  The rooms were more than adequate but the views were stunning. Rebekah was a delight and I could easily have taken her back to the UK. Wandering around the vineyard and sampling the wines was heavenly. I would go back without hesitation. It was wonderful. Even our teenage sons enjoyed it!!

Absolute Stress Buster

We had a spacious room but the bath room was really dated. The breakfast was fine and the lady was very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and area were great and you have a fantastic view from there. 
Still I think it's a little too expensive for what they offer.

Beautiful view and garden

A beautiful setting in a totally underrated area of France. Narbonne is French country charm with the friendliest staff trying to accommodate your every need. Be sure to do a tasting with Peter. It is absolutely worth the time. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

Pictures can not do this justice

My sister-in-law, niece and I arrived by train to Narbonne from Paris and immediately began to relax when we saw the beautiful setting of Mas du Soleilla.  The accommodations for three travelers was very comfortable.  We enjoyed the wine very much and appreciated the personal tour and tasting with our host Peter.  Breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented by Rebekah.  We were very pleased with our choice to stay at Mas du Soleilla and would recommend it for a change of pace from the typical "south of France" experience.
