This chateau is a manor house, a huge mansion with a big swing. Many of the rooms are decorated as a living room, a reading room or simply a living room and are available to all guests. In front of the house is a large garden with a labyrinth of vineyards, as well as large areas with flowers and a beautiful fountain. Our room had a beautiful view of the vineyards and was the largest of our entire trip. The bathroom and toilet are separate and very functional. Since all wine is grown here, a tour through the wine cellar was on the program as well as a tasting, led by the cellar master. I can only recommend the wine after a rest! After a meal and a relaxing breakfast, a chef's room had a personal tasting room that all the wishes were fulfilled for the night.

Nice location, rooms comfortable and huge, garden rather a parking lot

I enjoyed the comfortable bed, the bathroom, the quality of the wifi, the breakfast and Xavier's hospitality, as well as the top quality wines and a rare price ratio in the area. I had tasted the Chateau a few years ago and on the spot I have great pleasure as a professional tasting several millennia.

A very pleasant stay

Chateau Belles graves is a wine producing enterprise that is also a small hotel. It is located fine minutes away from a beautiful Saint Emilion within Lalande-Pomerol appellation. The place and the grounds are charming with fantastic views on surrounding vine fields.
The owner Xavier keeps the common area just as they had been during his grandparents' time which adds to the charm.
Xavier gave us a tour of his fields and the winery. The depth of his knowledge and his passion for the wine making is incredible. It was not our first visit to a winery but we have learned a lot! 
The place is about 40 min drive from Bordeaux and about as much from the international airport.
The whole experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend this hotel.
PS. the shower curtains in the bathrooms would have been useful :)

Excellent experience in the Bordeaux wine region

A lovely place! A mansion in the heart of the Bordeaux region immersed in vineyards. The room faced directly on the garden, with retro furnishings but where nothing was missing. Good breakfast with bread and croissant delivered directly from the boulanger in the morning. The only small sin is not putting a soap in the bathroom so you can wash your hands and never having emptied the basket in the three days of stay. Anyway, highly recommended!

Stay in the chateau

What a beautiful place this estate is Thank you to the owners who make us share their walls a real and unsatisfied setting surrounded by beautiful vineyards my only regret is not having bought a bottle of their estate to enjoy it in the evening on the terrace with a little charcuterie they had booked us a very good table in a ready-made establishment the catusseau table a pure treat thank you both Rudi and Pascal Brussels

A place for romance

V elegant and charming, with spectacular views of vineyards and formal gardens overlooking Valley de la Barbanne. We loved our stay. A few touches would make this 5 stars:
1. Breakfast could be better
2. Interior could do with a refresh  - 
It feels a little tired 


Beautiful chateau 

This family castle is full of history and Xavier P will tell you his story. The tasting is full of explanations that will allow you to discover the complexity of wine making. Sleeping in this place is magical. You wake up in the middle of the vineyards. Breakfast in one of the rooms of the castle is copious.

Diving in the Midst of the Vineyards

What's excellent about this Château is it it's a very small with the owner is on the premises to give you are very personalized tour of the property and a taste of his wines. The wines are delicious, and very representative of this plateau terroir.

Excellent Wine, Owner Tours

We booked our room in part because we have come to love the wines produced by this winery.  However, the chateau far exceed our expectations and we can't wait to return - this time for more than 2 nights!  From the moment we arrived; and we were late, Xavier made sure we had everything we needed from dinner reservations to a private tasting the day of our departure.  We absolutely loved our time here and will certainly return.  The vistas from our room were beautiful and to be able to sleep with the windows open and hear the sounds of the night was heaven to us!  The room was very spacious with a well-appointed and modern bathroom.  The breakfast was delicious - the best yogurt I believe I have ever eaten and fruit fresh picked from the trees on the property.  The croissants and the coffee were fresh and plentiful each morning. 

Xavier was very kind and provided us with a private wine tasting the morning of our departure despite the fact that he was obviously busy with the harvest nearing and the bottling of the 2015 vintage.  We were able to secure 2 bottles of the 2010 harvest which I highly recommend!  Thank you, Xavier for all of your help and kindness during our stay!

Relaxing Chateau Visit

Amazing building in a beautiful area with a great view over the winery. We had a very big room with doors which let us straight to the wineries. The host was really friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
