We loved our little visit! Such a nice, quiet and beautifull place. And the hosts were  so kind and helpfull and very caring people. 
The self-catered bar was good and not expensive at all!
We would like to come back to this lovely castle and stay a bit longer next time…

Very nice place

We spent a stay from the 5th Ascension with a very nice family! Very nice home (only a small negative point is not necessarily well indicated and we had a hard time finding it). The rooms are very nice as well as the common places, we feel almost at home. Meals are made with simple ingredients and very well cooked fresh. You can buy champagne and wine (or other apéros and drinks) for your consumption at reasonable prices, which you can keep for several days. The Château has its charm and rustic garden with a very picturesque décor, including in the dining room.

A very pleasant family stay

Very unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. We would arrive late, but they rudely announced that we would not be welcome. They refused to pay a refund. I would not recommend visiting this venue, nor recommend to pay in advance for any reservations. Very disappointing.

Unfriendly, rude and inflexible staff

Didn't meet our expectations. Maybe our expectations were to high based on the (almost unreal) reviews shared by other guests and the steep pricing level of the room. Hotel has nice surroundings but lacks genuine friendliness and focus on guest satisfaction.

Didn't meet expectations

Rececently returned from a stay at the Chateau de Nettancourt with a group of English and Belgian Friends visiting the Verdun area.
A warm welcome greeted us from the owners Frederik and Aicha, the rooms were very comfortable with a walk in shower room, the evening meal was outstanding, as was the breakfast choice. it was great to relax with an evening drink in the courtyard and talk to the other guests. Frederik pointed us in the right direction for touring the Verdun area which was a great help, don't forget to ask Frederik to view his 'museum' you will not be disappointed.
Thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay in such a lovely chateau.

Peaceful French Chateau

We did not expected to find such a beautiful castle when entering the village. A warm welcome by the lord of the castle. Everything looks fantastic and is decorated with great taste. We had a suite (fine bed, good night rest) which we liked very well. After a glass of wine in the living room we went for  dinner. Deliciously cooked. We would like to stay longer and we enjoyed our stay. 

Fantastic stay @ the chateau 

My family and I stayed at Chateau de Nettancourt on our recent European road trip and were delighted with our choice.

First of all, the owners, Frederik and Aicha, were so friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived, until our departure.

The building itself is a beautiful French chateau in a very quiet village location, and the rooms we stayed in were full of charm and character, and very comfortable.

Our children loved their dip in the pool and a game of pétanque, and we all enjoyed a delicious home cooked evening meal provided by our hosts at a reasonable cost. They are clearly food and wine lovers, and also provide at very low cost a wide range of drinks: you simply help yourself and write down what you consume, with prices barely more than you'd pay in a supermarket...all contributing to the relaxed family feel of the place.

There are plenty of communal areas including a comfortable sitting room indoors with books and games, as well as outdoor furniture and sun loungers. Like the evening meal, the breakfast was also utterly delicious and faultless.

Our hosts also recommended a champagne producer for us to visit (Bernard Lonclas in nearby Bassuet) which we thoroughly enjoyed on the morning of our departure, before heading to Reims to see the wonderful cathedral.

In summary, for a memorable family stay in a chateau full of charm, with welcoming hosts and great food and drink, look no further! We would happily return.

Stay in a beautiful French chateau, eat well, and enjoy great hospitality

The young family who own and work this chateaux are so welcoming, speaking French, Belgian and very good English. The building is divine.....fantastic experience.
The home cooked evening meals cannot be bettered in high class restaurants...and the breakfasts are superior to any we have experienced in our wide travels...something foe everyone.
TREAT yourselves you will not regret a visit here.
