We spent an excellent tranquil vacation at the chateau (in the cottage La Brosse). The cottage was spacious and well equipped. Michel was a very nice and active landowner. He truly wished for us to have a good time and we felt quite comfortable on the premises.
The chateau is beautiful with a large forest next to the premises. The only problem was with the WiFi that did not work.
We had a very good experience and strongly advise to have a vacation there.

Excellent Family Vacation

We arranged a 7 night stay in one of the cottages, on the grounds of the chateau. We found both hosts to be unwelcoming. The cottage is not family friendly. The other concern is it is not accessible for our disabled daughter. The strong smell of damp in the cottage was also a concern. We really didnt enjoy our stay and left early. We cannot recommend this accommodation!

Disappointing Stay

We found the Chateau a charming place, the cottage very nice and with all amenities.
Our only request is for better beds. Those traditional twin beds are very atmospheric but we would rather like a normal double or queen bed.
The wifi is a bit disappointing for we have to go to the chateau but otherwise it's a lovely place and we would come back again.

Nice quaint cottage

The cottage is located withn the grounds of the Chateau, with plenty of space for the children to run around. They particulary enjoyed the swimming pool which had a diving board and being able to see the wild boar from the garden.
Michel made us feel very welcome during our stay. The cottage was very clean and comfortable.

La Boulangerie

Our second stay! We returned here from New Zealand because we like authentic, family run, real, places to stay. The estate goes back 700 years and part of the Chateau is 500 years old.
The accommodation cottages are very spacious, charming, and with all important modern conveniences and facilities. The Chateau is tired but under repair. Privately owned, it is a huge cost to maintain such an historic architectural delight, but Michel and Monica are doing very well. We loved it here. It is very special. We will return once more. Au revoir from two happy Kiwis.
