Under 5 minutes walk from Nice Ville train station, this cozy little hotel doesn’t feel like it’s near the hussle and noise of a train station area. Great location where you can walk to the promenade in under 30 minutes, the old town in under 40. The reception team could not have been more friendly and helpful, with a wealth of information and places to tell you to visit. The room is compact but spotlessly clean. We had an issue with hot water the first morning… when we got back later they gave a free bottle of new season Beaujolais noveau for the inconvenience. You can do Nice in one and half days. If staying longer as we did, it’s 30 minutes ish to Monaco by train. We stopped half way and visited Eze which was stunning (as recommended by the hotel)….suggest if you don’t like walking a mountain trek climbing up 2000ft, maybe get the bus to Eze village first. It’s about 25 minutes the opposite direction to Antibes, which is a smaller version of Nice. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all.
