We stayed with Jean Pierre and his wife Maryse at their quaint B&B in Longues-Sur-Mer just outside of Bayeux.  It is a lovely old farm house with lots of charm and the view was breathtaking from our tiny little windows in the 3rd floor.  Our rooms for 3 adults and 2 children were in the top floor and perfect for our stay.  1 queen bed with 2 twins and the other was 1 queen with 1 twin.  Small but efficient bathrooms.  Comfy beds and lots of blankets, a bit older but more like grandmas house rather than old.  Breakfast was wonderful each morning and our children enjoyed their chocolat chaud with breakfast. We were served an assortment of fresh jams, breads, eggs or yogurt, juice and coffee. Perfect!  While we don't speak any French and Jean Pierre and his wife no English, we managed and felt the warm welcome hospitality.  We would easily plan another trip to the area and stay at this quaint B&B!  

Perfect B&B in quiet town overlooking Bayeux

We stayed two nights here and found it very welcoming and pleasant.  The second night we were quite hot as our room was on the top floor, under the eaves.  Comfortable beds (double and a single for our child) and en suite bathroom.  Lovely breakfast with other visitors all together, with home made conserve.  Chickens in the garden and some unusual cats with no fur!  

Very pleasant B&B

This property is very quaint. The owners are very warm and welcoming even though English is not really spoken here and our French is rather poor we still could have a laugh. The rook was large although the shower room quite cramped. The bed unfortunately was very uncomfortable. We were on the second floor so we could hear all the water running down the pipes from showers and the toilets. All the floors were wooden and creaked. We stayed for four nights most people seem to use it for a one night stop over. Breakfast was fine bread croissants eggs jams etc. Kept us full all day.

Welcoming stay

We stayed here for two nights. We had two rooms. One was big with comfy bed and fine bathroom. The only negative thing was that there was no soap, you have to bring your own soap. My children had another room at the top. It was a nice, old fashion room with good vibes. Nice bathroom but no soap. WiFi was fine in this room. I guess it was because the ruter was placed in that room. In our room the WiFi was absent. We had a car and visited Omaha Beach. We ate dinner in Bayeux and in Port en Bessin. The B&B is a nice place to sleep with excelent breakfast. The owners want all your best.
