This is a charming chambre d’hote just over two hours from Calais and a perfect stopover place to stay when going to or from West or Southwest France. Very welcoming hosts, comfortable room and an excellent dinner on offer. Next to an impressive and huge medieval abbey with impressive gardens to explore. Highly recommended.

Excellent chambre d’hote

We stayed at this B and B in July and it is a stunning location beside an abbey with a beautiful garden.  Our room for 3 people was very spacious, quiet, and had a view of the abbey and garden.  The breakfasts and optional dinner were very delicious and we were able to try some of the local ciders, beer, and wine.  The hosts are helpful and welcoming.  It’s located about 20 minutes from Rouen, and the area has a lot of charm to it.  I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy this part of France.

Family. Acation

Excellent location, facilities, customer service and personal welcome and care by the owners. Lots of local knowledge and travel tips freely given by the owner Christelle, a person of unique charm and high capability. Breakfasts are superb and beyond belief. The living Roman Catholic abbey church opposite the hotel is delightful, a real haven of peace whilst it is actively looking for more people to consider joining it as priests or help them in other ways.

Excellence beyond expectation

This wonderful Hostises in a small village St Martin De Boscherville,close to Rouen is idilic. It is run by a very charming husband and wife who both go beyond normal hospitality, a lovely welcome drink on arrival, and the opportunity to experience home cooked simple or full evening meal if booked in advance at very reasonable cost.
The rooms are spacious with all amenities, in a location perfect for exploring Rouen, and the beautiful Seine valley. 
Next to the accommodation is an old Abbey with wonderful gardens, well worth a visit and afterwards the opportunity to purchase coffee drinks and snacks, (when the snack bar is open in season)
Your Hostess will provide you with an excellent continental breakfast from locally sourced products, and prepared in her kitchen.
Cannot recommend this establishment high enough. We have already booked a return visit, can’t wait.

Stayed 2 excellent nights

I can't recommend Christelle's B&B more highly! The rooms are light and spacious, the setting in the grounds of the old abbeye is fabulous and St Martin-de-Boscherville is a beautiful quiet village. And then there is Christelle would couldn't be more welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was also amazing with home cooked food including apple tarte. We will definitely stay here again when around Rouen

What an amazing place

Didn't know what to expect of this B&B, it just happened to be in the right location for us. However, when we arrived and booked in it couldn't have been better. Beautiful large, airy bedroom and spotless bathroom, looking out over the garden to the abbey.
Olivier and Christelle are very friendly and accommodating hosts (and speak very good English) and provide breakfasts that set you up for the day.

Highly Recommended.

This is the best B&B I ever visited. No doubt. The owner was very friendly and not only that! She explained a lot of interesting things about the history of the village and the nearby church about her business and herself.

Superb!

This small b&b is set it a lovely quiet village right next to Abbey and gardens which provide amazing views and are also worth a visit. Close to Rouen and connecting routes. We had a lovely welcome by the owner and offered welcome drinks. Our room was basic but very clean and had everything we needed. 

Things to consider: if you want to eat dinner here, you need to give 48 hours notice. Something we wish we had known because when arriving on Sunday evening nothing in the area was open!

The Abbey bells chime most hours (not all!) and at 7:05 am and pm do a few minutes of random but pretty chiming!

If you want real France, this is a good example of it. A lovely place to stay for a night.

Beautiful location off the beaten track

Lovely, if a little quirky, rooms overlooking the abbey at close quarters.  Charming.  Beds large and confortable.  Bathrooms good, but I prefer a shower.  This paragraph is added because the mindless bots at the site won't let me leave just the amount of comment I wished.  It doesn't affect my view of the hotel which is fine - we're going again next week, but this may be the last time I ever sign in here
