We booked this hotel as it seemed a reasonable point for our overnight stopover traveling to the south of France. The room was clean but the decor both in the room and in the hotel in general was tired and dated. The ensuite was unusual and it was a little disconcerting stepping up to the toilet which gave me the impression of sitting on a throne. We ate in the hotel and the food was very good, service was a bit slow but this was not a problem. The meal was a bit pricey. Breakfast was self service buffet and was good value. When we returned to the room after our meal there was a strong smell of cannabis in the corridor but I assume this was one of the guests and nothing to do with the hotel. We were able to take our small dog into our room but there was an extra charge.
