Out of season, the hotel seems rather run down and uncared for.  Staff are all friendly and helpful.  The restaurant, just down the hill from the hotel, is good value and waiters are efficient.  However, the pool area is neglected.  Grass has not been cut, there are weeds everywhere, and unfortunately the surrounding area was full of insects.  I was so badly bitten that I had to go to the doctor, and the bites took three weeks to subside.  If the area had been kept clean and the grass cut, I am sure this would not have happened.
Our upgrade room turned out to be a Mezzanine.  The stairs were very steep, and I think we should have been warned about this in advance.

A rather disappointing stay in a lovely part of the Cevennes National Park

Lovely evening with great food in the restaurant. Room very comfortable and spotless. Bed firm and high quality. Unpretentious but elegant. These people know what they are doing and have got it right. Talking to other solo travelers we learned that it is by far the best hotel/restaurant in the area which explains why it was full mid-week in March. Hope to return. Might make diversion just to enjoy it again. Congratulations.

This "Chambre d'Hotes is also a museum. Art is everywhere.
Professional service and first class accommodations. 
Centrally located between the Cevennes and Provence, close to Uzes, Nimes and le Pont du Gard...
We enjoyed the friendliness of everyone working there.

Great stop for art lovers lovers

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed staying there very much and we were well received.
The two things that could be improved are the mattresses (very hard) and the breakfast (it would be nice to have some healthy options, as the breakfast consisted mostly of croissants, bread and jam). 

Lovely place at affordable prices 

This hotel is situated in an old, very beautiful, building with rooms in another building on the other side of the yard. We had a room upstairs with a mezzanine. As we were just two people that was no advantage to us. The double bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet The room was clean and with nice building decorations. However, the there was little space in the bathroom and if all four beds had been occupied there had been a problem as two people cannot be there at the same time. The toilet was separate. You enter directly from the gallery and there are no windows to open, which can be a problem at nights after hot days. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was OK. The wifi did not work in the room.

Quiet with a nice bed

Hotel was small and quaint.

Bedrooms were tidy and clean.

Staff were helpful although no English spoken here. You have to have some knowledge of the french language or you might struggle.

There was a swimming pool tucked away but nippy as not heated.

Gardens were pretty.

Place was quiet.

Good location for visiting the National Park.

Would definitely return.

Short trip to Cevenne National Park

Arrived in the early evening. Can drive right up through the stone pillars to a shaded parking area Rooms are in a separate block from the reception, across the car park. We had a lovely double room on the ground floor. Bed was very comfortable, Separate shower and toilet. Would prefer to have a door rather than a shower curtain for the shower cubicle. Good quiet air conditioning. Wifi worked better the closer you were to reception. Lovely seating area outside. Was able to have our picnic under the shade of the tree. Good private swimming pool, with some sun loungers. There is a restaurant down the drive way for supper as well
