Dab smack in the middel of the ancient city center. This small hotel with only a few rooms sports a manager that really tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible. 
The room (we had the Paris room) is small but clean and neat. The (separate) toilet was really cramped for a tall guy like me. The shower had a funny jet system and you really need to climb into the shower (no bath) so this doesn't really work when you have reduced mobility.
It was quite warm when we were there and the room has no airconditioning. Sleeping with an open window causes the nightly noises of the city center to enter your room. (It seems there are always people that need to yell in the streets at 3 o'clock at night).
Breakfast is brought to your room at the agreed time and consists of coffee, tea or  chocolate, baguette, cheese, jam, some vienoiserie (croissant, chocolate bun) and orange juice. Although the manager said he could not cater for gluten free bread he added and egg, some fruit (apple) and yoghurt for my wife who's a celiac.
All in all a very pleasant stay in a cute hotel at a great location.

Great location, small but neat room

The location of this very small hotel is definitely its biggest advantage. The tramway is only a 1 minute walk away and you can visit the whole city walking. The staff (actually the owner seems to be the only staff) is extremely friendly and helpful. He is currently remodeling the hotel himself (room after room, as I was told). 
I was in a small room still to be remodeled. It's not big and not luxurious, but it's a good and cheap solution for a business trip.  
The only real problem was that there is basically no breakfast (you can order one that is delivered the day before, thus not fresh). That wouldn't be a problem if the bakeries around the corner would open early, which is unfortunately not the case. Hence, if you need a breakfast before 7.30am, it's complicated.

Small and modest - great location

Lovely little hotel in a great location. Small hotel with smallish rooms but very friendly and courteous manager/owner. Ideal for a 1 or 2 night stop over. Breakfast is served in the room as no breakfast room...We decided to have breakfast in a cafe outside the Cathedral. ...Great..

Spot on location....

Super friendly, clean, good price, in the middle of the centre of Orléans... Perfect!
