Large room, nicely decorated, well furnished, comfortable bed. Small bathroom, insufficient water pressure on top floor. Large and good breakfast with homemade cakes & jams. Warm & friendly hosts, very good advices on tourisitic information. Well placed to drive around and in walking distance of everything in Paimpol.

The Maison St. Michel was one of the best places that we have stayed in all of France over many different trips. 

First, Paimpol itself is a wonderful, friendly town, with its beautiful old centre-ville and harbor. The Maison is within walking distance of everything, including the train station, which we used. 

The premises are beautiful and quiet--housed in what once was a convent, but now with all the amenities without losing its old charm. We rented a room for 5 days that included a kitchen, living/dining area, separate bedroom and bathroom with shower. It was cosy and comfortable. The breakfasts were incredible and plentiful, that included everything from fresh croissants and baguettes, to cereal, homemade jams and yogurt, and much more. Very impressive. 

But we were most impressed with our warm and friendly hosts, Pascal and Anne. They never stopped answering our questions, giving us advice, and meeting every need. They are actually our fondest memory of Paimpol!

We hope to return to see Pascal, Anne and Paimpol again next year. Thank you!

A perfect stay ... Thank You!

Only one negative point : our stay was too short.   this is really an amazing place.  It is located very near the centre of Paimpol and still it is very quietly.   According to the proprietor the place used to be a convent and a boyschool.   It is a typical building of the region and the rooms are very nicely decorated. You can leave the car safely on the premises.  The proprietors are very friendly and helpful (trips etc....)   Restaurants and shops are only a few footsteps away.    The region is very nice for making long walks (e.g. ile de Bréhat) and has all the ingredients for having a "no-stress" holiday.

Ideal for a first visit to Bretagne

A lovely place ! At the city center , with private parking and a big garden. Big apartments, Designed with a very good taste and home atmosphere , make this place the PERFECT place for a holiday in Brittany. Most of the attractions are around 30 Km easy driving.
What you need more than after a trip day to come "home" and feel at home, rest a bit or relax at the garden and after to walk few minutes to the very good restaurants at Paimpol. The owners of this great place , made it with their own hands and the home breakfast with cakes and products made at home just add more to the special atmosphere.
I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.

I wish we could stay more... Amazing place

Only a couple of minutes from the town centre but such a quiet location. They have I think 10 apartments all lovely and clean and quite roomy and well equipped. The couple that run it are really, really helpful.  We only stayed one day so had breakfast there and it was so nice.
