I would say that for once we came across a hotel where detail counts. Newly refurbished the environnement, the rooms and the restaurant have brought this boutique hotel to a high level. The staff are very professional and catered to our every needs, electric recharge for our car and a welcome bowl, dog biscuit and blanket for our little dog. 
The Ostrium restaurant offers a wholesome bistronomic menu made from local produce. I was impressed on the rapidity and excellence of the service. And it was nice to see the brigade in the open kitchen working professionally as we ate. We had an excellent evening meal from a very original menu and the buffet breakfast in the morning offers homemade smoked salmon, ham, jams and other produce.  We will definately go back and have already recommended to friends.

My husband and I spent a night at this beautifully renovated hotel.  The restaurant was simply excellent.  Delicious food, impeccable presentation and a great wine selection.  The staff were warm and friendly.  We were treated by a very sweet dog at the reception which I loved. You’ll feel instantly cozy and at home here. Thanks so much!

Week-end à paimpol

This is a lovely new hotel with a beautiful bar area.  The room was comfortable as was the bed.  Excellent soundproofing means a lovely quiet night. Imaginative menu in both the bar and restaurant.  Will definitely use this hotel again and highly recommend for quality, location and service.

Great hotel for stay in Paimpol

A very modern hotel but with a traditional ethos for such welcoming hospitality. From first arrival we were welcomed just as though we had visited many times , although this was our first visit. We took the gourmet package and lovely little cakes awaited us in our room. Then on to dinner, first drinks in the bar then a wonderful à la carte choice of dinner followed by coffee. Wine choices were very good. Breakfast next morning was excellent, not just your average but a fabulous choice of meat, cheese, salmon, cereals, croissants and jam, delicious juices and coffees/teas.  We had a bedroom with terrace. I would advise to book this room as it’s still not large but does have a little ground floor outside space. Ideal for our dog to go out for a little stroll on her lead. The bed was very comfortable. The shower amazing. How lucky we were to book our Golden wedding anniversary stay here. Thankyou Hauts de Kerano. We loved our stay at your hotel and in the area generally.

This hotel needs to be remodeled. Room are very outdated and they smell like mildew and humidity. The hotel offers the strict minimum. I would suggest to go there if you are just looking for a bed to sleep for a night and are not looking for comfort. Breakfast was good.

So outdated - comfort is bare minimum

This was a very much last minute booking & the hotel was virtually full. The staff managed to find a room for us which was, essentially, a room for disabled guests. The beds were a little hard, but this may well have been a requirement for disabled guests. As the hotel was full, there were no meal facilities available. There was a very large private car park. The hotel is well located on the edge of Paimpol & the centre is only a 5 minute taxi ride away.

very helpful staff & a convenient hotel

We stayed here for two nights, whilst on a tour of Brittany.  The staff were very friendly and helpful.  The hotel looked much better from the inside than the exterior impression.  It's a bit basic, but it does the job.

The beds were very comfortable and although it initially seemed a bit far from the port, it was easily walkable.  It is also conveniently placed near several supermarkets, so picking up a picnic to take to the beach is no problem. 

The only slight negative was the lack of a stand-up shower, but the bath was good enough. 

We had a pleasant stay and would consider this hotel again on any future visits to Paimpol.

Good value for money and friendly 

The good thing about this hotel is it's in a good location (only about 15 mins walk into Paimpol). Paimpol is a lovely town and we had some nice meals out by the marina and sampled the local cider. 
If you're looking for a clean, basic hotel at a good price then the Eurotel is fine although it does feel and smell a bit like an old people's home.
The breakfast was very basic for 7.50euros- you'd be better off walking to the Lidl across the road where they bake fresh bread every day. The wi-fi was broken when we were there but to be honest I doubt it ever works.
The do not disturb signs clearly don't mean anything at this hotel, as the cleaner kept trying to come in and clean our room even though we said not to.
If you stay at the Eurotel don't forget your own kettle (no tea or coffee making facilities unfortunately), a hairdryer and an iron.
