We stay here for one night on our way through the area. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us so we didn't get an opportunity to see the surroundings. What we could see through the rain was very pleasant. The house is in the countryside with very little around it apart from a few houses. The place is quite old, has a large open staircase when you enter. Room was spacious with an en suite shower room. We were offered an evening meal cooked by the lady of the house as there were few (if any) restaurants in the area. The meal, 4 courses, was delicious and we had a very pleasant evening with the owner who joined us for the meal. Breakfast the following morning was just as good.

Excellent Hospitality 

A great welcome and a sympathetic ear for my faltering French. 
I was driving from Portugal to London and fancied a different route. 
These days, it's so easy to find accommodation while you're on the road and this is what came up!
Very comfortable, jolly host, delicious breakfast. What more could I ask?

Fabulous

We were a family of four and stayed in the family room, which was a good size, decor and had a lovely bathroom (fantastic shower). Having seen the reviews and given the location (we were staying here as flying out of Limoges early in the morning), we had booked dinner as well. The food was a tomato and egg salad, followed by homemade sausage and lentil stew, French cheeses (lovely) and a home made pear clafoutis (pear in an egg based cake/pancake). We had wine included in the price. Although our children didn't have any wine (and one of them only ate half a sausage and some lentils and bread) I was surprised that we were charged €20 each for dinner. Other than this all was fine.

Nice bedroom

We had a 'superior' room, I was late in booking this B&B and this was what was left. Affordable price, wifi ok. Disappointing there was no tea or coffe in the room, in fact there was no one who could offer as such when we arrived (the 'gardener' or handyman showed us our room and gave the key). Dining is is required to be booked in advance but I did not see that info upon booking. The nearest town is a 15 min drive. We were invited to join a couple who had booked dinner and were treated on a truly splendid dinner, prepared by a very charming hostess. Payment is cash only.

Luxurious stay, but one with a few disadvantages

Charming family home in the a little country village of Pannissac. The owner Fredericke is very lovely and helpful and spoke English. Had a lovely breakfast and 4 course French dinner that Fredericke cooked himself. He sits at the table with you and that is great to get some knowledge of French life and what is happening in France. The rooms are delightful and the grounds very pretty. Glad we found and stayed here.
