I was there just for a night on a transit flight the next morning 
The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Orly terminal 4 you can add 5 minutes from terminal 3 
Rooms are small and dated the switches were broken but it’s ok for a budget hotel for a night
There is a restaurant at the ibis red next door 
I would give 3 star for this budget hotel

Good for transit passengers

Room 134 smelt so strongly of faeces I asked to be moved. Apparently this wasn't possible so they gave me the key to open the window. As it was on the 1st floor with a ledge outside I locked it during the night only to be woken by the smell of faeces that was so strong I had to open the window and sleep like that. When I complained to the woman on the desk in the morning she didn't seem the slightest bit concerned or surprised. Spend a bit more and go next door to the Ibis. Aircon is also turned off during Winter months.

Room smelt like faeces. 

Spent only one night at the hotel before taking a flight early in the morning.  The room was small but had whatever we needed i.e. clean, a bed and a shower.  we did not use any other service at the hotel (if any).  Reception staff were friendly and we checked in and out without any issues.  The hotel is only 10-15 minutes away by walk from Orly airport which makes it ideal for a sleepover before or after a flight.

Basic but comfortable



Booked this place only because the overnight transit was a short one and didnt anything more than a bed to rest. However, everything about this budget property was horrible - POor service at the front office, lack of support from restaurant staff, and a chaotic check-in and checkout experience. Avoid this place if you can! And stay at the other Ibis (Styles) property next to it

LOCATION: Quick 10-minute walk from Terminal 3 and 4 or Orly airport

DINE + DRINK: Dont expect anything, bring your own food and drinks!!!!!

ROOM: We stayed in Room 201, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Random Airport and road view; SIZE: Matchbox of a room that is typical of most Ibis BUDGET hotels!!!.  AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Decent cosmetics

FACILITIES: No Gym or pool on site

SERVICE: The worst part of the stay. The unfriendly and non-welcoming front office and restaurant staff(night team)!!

HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Tiny Plasma TV screen dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment - mostly only in French!


Nightmare in Orly!

As its name suggests, this is a budget hotel for travellers in transit at little hours.

Be prepared that amenities of the room are very basic, and note that the room neither have an electric kettle nor a hairdryer. The latter is more of an issue especially for ladies who have long, thick hair. 

There are also siren / plane noises occasionally but it quieted down past midnight. The blinds worked fine (though I am not a sleeper that is ultra sensitive to light), there is also a/c (which is a plus by the standard of hotels in France) and the bed is soft and comfortable. 

My package also comes with simple continental breakfast (pastries and yogurt, and hot drinks), which I find decent for a budget hotel. 

Overall, it is a reasonable deal for in-transit travellers who have set their expectation for a budget airport hotel in the city of Paris.

Mediocre airport hotel suitable for travellers in transit

I was very kindly welcome when arriving at 9pm. As i had not dinner,  i was proposed a salad from an automated dispenser, and as it didn't accept the Visa card, the desk officer processed my card payment and delivered herself the salad ! She also proposed some ready to warm dishes, and desserts. She helped another customer for booking (rather than tell her to do it herself via website) and advised her on best offers.  The breakfast team was very welcoming as well, the morning desk officer helped me to find the shuttle, just a few meters from hotel door ! Really all very kind and welcoming staff. Exceptional welcome !

Excellent and warm welcome from the front desk team.  Room had everything needed for a simple pre-flight stay.  Hotel is walking distance from terminal 4 via a covered walkway (elevators each end so easy if you have luggage).  What impressed me most, though is the friendliness of the team working there.  Well done.

Arrived late evening and checked out early next morning.

First impressions are OK, the reception area is small and cramped but clean and modern. The welcome at check in was warm and friendly, sadly after that things went downhill.

On opening the door to our room we were hi with an unpleasant and overpowering smell, had we been staying longer we would have complained and asked to move rooms but as our stay was only for 8 hours and we were tired after a day of travelling we decided to hold our noses and put up with it. The room itself was tiny, 2 medium size cases turned getting from the bed to the bathroom into an obstacle course.

The walls and skirting were bashed, marked and scratched & no doubt caused by visitors trying to manouevre cases in and out of the room. The stains on the curtains possibly harder to explain.

You have to make up the bunk with the bedding provided, an awkward job at the best of times made even more so with the standard sheet provided - seriously why not provide a fitted sheet to make life a little easier for guests? Pubic hair in the bed as well which brings the cleaning process into question.

The bedding was heavy and poor quality, it made for an uncomfortable night of attempted sleep.

Facilities are next to nil, not even plastic cups in the bathroom to use when cleaning teeth. There are toiletries provided in the form of bodywash - be careful, it caused me to break out in a rash when I used it. 

The shower was actually OK with decent pressure.

Breakfast consisted of a small buffet with croissants, pain au chocolat & spreads, a limited selection of cereals & fruit + coffee and juice.  For a quick bite before an early morning flight it filled a need. 

While getting a second cup of coffee I was challenged by reception asking which room I was in and if I had paid. Felt like I was being accused of stealing.

At €80 our stay didn't represent good value, to be honest at half that I would still have been unhappy.

Not even a goodbye or thankyou from reception when we checked out, they were too interested in chatting and looking at their phones.

Pay extra and stay somewhere else

One night only

When I booked this room, I didn’t pay attention to the word “Budget”
Until I get there. I would pay extra to avoid staying in this hotel if I new before what I am getting myself into. Smells very bad, not only the corridors but the room smell worse.
€54 for single room isn’t budget price I guess. Because I paid less even half of that price and the hotel was mint very clean. That’s why I always use Ibis hotels wherever I travel. This hotel need a full makeover and strict cleaning procedure.

My Mistake

Stayed here for one night ready for morning flight from the nearby airport. Access to the hotel is pretty good. About a 15 minute walk from Terminal 1 although I believe you can get a shuttle bus. Reception area was bright and modern and check in was a breeze. Room was under average , very small, with an even smaller bathroom area. However the room was clean if dated and the bed was extremely comfortable. WiFi was very good.
