When I went to the site, I thought very good choice of hotel, pool, gym, etc... Very disappointed! very cold reception, didn't have my reservation and nervousness, I have to pay at all costs! Don't go to the gym, there are no more! Well in March, no normal pool. No breakfast on Friday or dinner on Thursday. To forget, sorry for them, because there is potential...

What a disappointment!

I preferred this small independent hotel to a large chain without charm, a gross mistake! After booking online I confirmed by phone in the afternoon, first mistake, already on the phone we feel bothered, yes, they don't work in the afternoon... After saying that I'll be back too late (22h00) I asked if I could eat, the owner's answer was: quite useless, in fact he's crazy... I'd have eaten before I arrived... the two reception doors (main entrance and parking side) are closed, no one needs to ring, the boss is obliged to call and there's nothing to be done about it, there's nothing to be done about it, so I'll be back in the room as soon as I get back to the room.

Running away

I leave a rather mixed opinion. It is a relatively nice hotel with nice staff. However, there are several surprises (bad): - to begin with, I paid a total of €114 for a standard room (85/night) + stage menu and breakfast (29€) whereas the price announced on their website and on their card is €88 for a stage party (room, meal, breakfast). I confirm that it was a week's evening and that they were aware of the desire for a stage reality (booking phone).

It's a mixed, nice hotel, but not too much condensation.

Being from France I was happy to remember the restaurant at this hotel and I booked for 6 people...super cousin night...we had chosen the full menu...successful from start to finish and a very pro boss.

Dinner at night

We recently stayed at this hotel and found the owner to be extremely arrogant and rude. He watched every move we made including what we were eating at breakfast which was not cheap and demanded payment for our stay before we had even packed our bags. At no point did we feel welcome and I would certainly not recommend this hotel.

Disappointing stay

To arrive in front of the hotel, where you have booked a room, a confirmed reservation and the amount charged by the tour operator, simply closed for holidays??????? without notifying or having his customers notified and to find yourself looking for a hotel room, on your feet, from 10 to 12 August.

I don't wish for anyone

Unfortunately my beautiful vacation in Parthenay was stained by this rude and ignorant hotel owner. Here's my story: We booked two rooms very early on the date of our vacation via email having not found the rooms free on Booking.com. For safety the day before we leave we call to hear if everything was okay and we are told that there was a problem in one of the two rooms we had booked and the room was no longer available. Here's my story. Angry I call and ask that I be found another system at the same time of our vacation by email having not found the rooms free on Booking.com.

Bad room owner.

We arrived at 3pm after a long bicycle trip to find the reception was closed until 6pm - something we were not advised about. We rang the owner & were told to wait. He subsequently turned up at 6.30 with 8 people waiting to get in. Unfriendly & aggressive he was rude & totally unapologetic about the inconvenience caused. The following morning he tried to overcharge our group! The hotel itself is overrated & poor value for money. Look elsewhere in Parthenay for accommodation. 

Don't Stay Here!

Congratulations to the owner and he has all the staff that work next to him, clean, friendly, facility kept in excellent condition, taken care of in all its corners, the owner immediately puts you at ease, as if you were at home, staff in the room very available, excellent service, I recommend you to enjoy their unique reaches is very abundant, the location of the facility is in a strategic position, a few steps from the center and to get out of the city very quickly, 1.4 km 10 minutes walk away is a shopping area where you can find everything and more, there are so many services that the facility offers completely free parking, Wi-Fi, gym, swimming pool, advice to everyone for short and long stays.

That's great.

Parking was easy as even if the spaces at the hotel had been full the nearby street parking is plentiful. The rooms are well situated around a central courtyard which also has the entrance to the Reception and Restaurant. It was good not having to look for somewhere to eat but if we had looked it is doubtful we would have found anywhere as good. The Restaurant was busy and there was a comfortable feeling about the place. The food was excellent and just a short walk to what turned out to be a peaceful night's sleep.
